i really do believe we will see the "old" RJJ a week from tonight.....Roy by TKO rd. 7 the old roy might be there mentally but the old roy who was capable of throwing sizzling 5-6 punch combinations are gone. Actually on the mentally part i'd say he is 75% there. He's lost his confidence sinc the Tarver KO.

*sighs* I really have no problem with Jones chasing his own personal pipe dreams; but he needs to be on ESPN's FNF and not PPV. He's not worth PPV anymore as a fighter. If you shell out 50 clams to watch RJJ fight now, it's like paying to see fat Elvis in Vegas in the mid-to-late 70's. You're not really getting the real thing; but at least you can tell your kids you saw him.

hmm, carlton is better on his feet as you can see. then again urkle has a reach advantage. i'd say urkle cause carlton would have problems making the weight. :p I think Carlton has the discipline to make weight. I think he will balloon up afterwards and have a considerable size and power over advantage over Urkel. Gatti v Gamache all over again.

I don't think Jones is finished physically, but that hes finished in his mind. Jones doesn't have that confidence he did when he was younger. With an unorthodox style like his, you better believe in that shit or its not gonna work. Now, he thinks twice and doesn't take any chances because he is so vulnerable to getting knocked out and he knows it. More importantly, every fighter in the world knows it as well. Jones is gonna look like Ray Robinson against Ajamu. Ajuma, I'm gonna keep it real here, has nothing. Really, hes not a good, capable fighter. Jones picked one of the safer fights for his comeback, or farewell fight. Jones is gonna win and then stay semi-retired and make an ill-fated decision to comeback cuz he misses the limelight.
