cotto aint fighting castillo, mayweather is fighting spinks. and mosley, going to welterweight. hatton is tied up, i doubt mosley wants to fight a bum. plus, Oscar wants to take out one of his rivals(arum) top fighters, dont be suprised if this fight happens. member, DANGER said it first.
Cotto late stoppage, mosley aint what he used to be, cotto's body punching will wear tha vet down.
thats wear i think your wrong... cotto is an excellent ring technician, he's very talented. just as skilled as forrest, but with a shaky chin. i think cotto wears him down, hes damn powerful. cotto at 47 probably still would be able to push around mosley, like vargas did in there first fight.
i dont see cotto being as skilled as the viper
also vargas pushing around mosely in first fight is just that, pushing. he should've taken that shit too the wwe. vargas can't pull the trigger and when he does, its just cork. he doesn't hurt anybody.

Cotto doesnt have the right skills to beat Mosley. Forrest and Winky were excellent ring technicians that had great jabs and chins *yes Forrest has a good chin, Mayorga has a rocket right hand*. They were able to turn Mosley with their jab and press him to the ropes. Cotto doesnt have the ring skills to be able to properly handle Mosley, also there is major concern about Cotto's chin.
Mosley by KO before 9

Kinda like how Corrales still wants nothing to do with a past his prime Casamayor, huh?
not wanting to get into the e-fight
but it was kinda odd how corrales responded to brian kenney's questions about another fight with casamayor
casa has slowed down even though he was more aggressive in theat fight on ESPN
cotto aint ready for shane come on. even vargas is a tougher opponent than cotto and look what shane did to him.
vargas has become stiff, tired, timid, and an old 28
cotto is none of the above man
this fight could be sweet
and imo it could go either way
cotto could break mosely's34 yr old body down with the hooks
sugar shane may cofuse him on the ouside, set traps and flurry explosively
great fight

I'm dont agree with that statement at this point.. Varga's was steadily on his way down and almost everyone could see that..
I think a big factor in this fight is also "when" it would supposedly happen.. and i agree with Left2body's comments about how Cotto's finally moving up would only help him as opposed to hurt him.. idk, it'd be too close to call for me right now

You can't possibly be defending JLC against Corrales. I don't think that at the proper weight JLC could have beaten Chico. Whether it is a difference in skill or simply weight drain, making weight is an integral part of boxing especially at lower weights. And Corrales is simply planning his career intelligently. Why would he want to fight Casamayor for a 3rd time? It won't gain him any respect and it is a dangerous fight. He knows that he has options at 135 or 140 so why box himself into a difficult fight for not that much money?
keep telling yourself that and defending your bitch ass Mexican hero. funny how you idolize a big bitch who ducks out of matches by making it look like it's not his fault.

Let's see how Cotto performs at 47 before we start making predictions. As it stands, with Cotto never testing 147, I'd have to favor Mosley as the bigger guy. He's been in there with some hard punchers (Forrest, DLH, and Vargas) and has gone 12 every time. I don't think Cotto can hurt him.
I think the added weight will greatly help Cotto. Everyone agree's that he was hurting himself at 140lbs his last few fights. Look at Pacman when he was KO'd he immediately went up in weight for his next fight and did much better and Pac has proven he can take a good punch.
I believe Cotto will look more like the Cotto of 3 years ago with better movement (not look like such a plodder) more fluid combinations and even take a better punch. However I'm not sure if his power will be as destructive as it was at 140lbs but all these questions will be answered once he fight a good welterweight.
I also dont see the Shane Mosley that fought Vargas beating Cotto. Shane didn't have the movement he had when he was younger, Shane was fairly flat footed. Also News Flash, Mosely was never that great a boxer, but people still say he is a great boxer. Mosely was actually a great flurry puncher who would do a Holyfield and through a flurry, keep his distance and flurry again, Mosley was never a great boxer or counter puncher but he had good hand speed and put together incredible combos when he flurried.
I would call this a late stoppage by Cotto.
still crying over that bs? :( haters like you are keeping boxing down, look at tha good things not bad...
n arum told him to make that weight, castillo knew he couldnt do it, but arum told him he needed to make tha weight. corrales would have got knocked out anyways...

Cotto should weigh in at 153lbs at the weigh in and beat a weight drained Mosley. Oh wait, Cotto's Puerto Rican, not Mexican.

It would be a great fight.I would probadly favor Mosley though.I think he could outbox Cotto to a decision.Or possibly stop him.But he would have to be cautious.Cotto could hurt him.
We haven't seen Cotto @ 147, however some of the problems he's been having related to draining himself to make weight should be taken care of. Judging Mosley's last performances @ 147 against Cruz and Estrada, wasn't close to what he looked like against Vargas @ 154. Should be an interesting match up, I'd give it to the young lion by UD or SD.
Cotto will probably be fighting the winner of Gatti/baldomir. and Castillo is not out of the question, if they fight it will be at 147, Castillo has already fought at that weight, so those of you who say that Castillo will be fighting at 140, should look at his last couple of fights, he has fought at 147 a couple times.
