How do you put Tszyu as one of the best welters right now without him even having fought at welter?
hell, we don't even know if he's retired.
Who is the greatest, in your own opinion, of the heavyweight division, Cruiser weight, light-heavy weight...........bantam weight e.t.c?

Best now:
Heavy - Wlad
Cruiser - Bell
Light Heavy - Hopkins
Super Middle - Calzaghe
Middle - Taylor
Jr. Middle - Mosley
Welter - Floyd
Jr Welter - Cotto
Lightweight - Corrales
Jr Lightweight - Pac
Heavy: Muhammad Ali
175: Ezzard Charles
160: Harry Greb
147: Ray Robinson
135: Roberto Duran (Benny Leonard an extremely close second)
126: Willie Pep
118: Eder Jofre
112: Jimmy Wilde
Rating Ray Robinson #1 at middleweight isn't too ridiculous in my eyes. I have him firmly sandwich at #2 between Harry Greb and Carlos Monzon (Hagler is at #4 if you're curious). However, like many have stated, if you know little about his career at middleweight, it's probably best not to mention him at all.
If we're talking best ever.
Heavy - Ali
Cruiser - Holyfield
LH - Moore
SMW - Hard to say, it's a pretty new division.
Middleweight - Hagler
Welter - Ray Robinson
well people call him the p4p best to ever play the sport, so whatever division he dominated in, he must have been best ever in. I wasnt sure what division he fought at. knowing that he went up to light-heavy at one point, i thought he was most likley always a middle-weight. I guess wrong apparently.
But then i do agree that hagler owns the rights to that spot. I was gonna put him there, but then robinson popped into my mind. I wasnt alive when he fought, so i know almost nothing about him. I guess i offended u in some way, so sorry about that.
When i was little, i was only into heavyweights (which is reasonable, considering how great that division was at that time), so i know i dont know much about the other fighters from when i was little. All i know is what i have learned in the last few years
Just to add in some input. I've never seen SRR fight nor have I even seen any pictures of him fighting someone..All I do know is he has an incredible record..
I've only seen a few of his fights. Yeah, there's not really that big of a problem listing a guy as the greatest p4p ever when he's so highly regarded, or even the best Welter when it's almost unanimously agreed upon that he was the best welter ever. However, when your knowledge of a guy is so obviously low that you don't rate him as the best in the division he dominated the most, and the one he's most well known for, then give him a spot at a place you're not even sure if he fought in, you're probably best off just not mentioning his name.
He was, but more of his career was fought at Welter. He's known as p4p the greatest fighter ever, and the best welterweight ever, but not the best middleweight ever. Normally the honors for best middleweight go to Marvin Hagler.
If you don't know if SRR was a middle, then you obviously know very little about him, so why the fuck would you rate him as anything? What, you hear that he's supposedly great, yet you have no idea who he fought, who he beat, and who he lost to, but you rate him as the greatest ever in a specific division, even though he isn't as big for that division. That's just fucking stupid, seriously. "Well, I know nothing of this guy, but a lot of people say he was great, so, despite knowing nothing of him, I'm gonna say that whatever division he was in, he was the best ever in all of them!"

The fact that you have SRL as the greatest welter ever is testament to what I have just said.
