So many top level boxers get trashed by people for no good reason, and I get tired of it. I will now prove a point. I challenge you guys to name a boxer, any boxer, and I will come up with reasons as to why he sucked.
Whether you suck or not is all relative. Someone is the best until someone else beats him. Everything is relative. When you say something like "this boxer has a weak punch", so what? He's got a weak punch compared with some martial arts guy but he has the hardest punch in the boxing business. So then does he suck or not? When someone says a boxer sucks, he's obviously thinking there's someone else better than that boxer.
Thats too easy, because none of them actually suck. I mainly created this thread to show that you can say any boxer sucks and make it sound convincing if you just look at their weaknesses.
I just think that it is funny that on boxing forums, where we are all diehard boxing fans, meaning we like boxing, we spend a lot more time trashing and critisizing fighters then we do complementing them.
he he, bro could you improve on the pacquiao sucks comment, its a little outdated, pac gets better every fight ... :boxing:
Paquiao was exposed in the Marquez fight. He is a one dimensional fighter who only knows how to come straight forward and has horrible defence. Anybody who knows how to box will beat Paquiao, just use lateral movement and he is bewildered. His win over a Morales who practically starved himself to death to make weight isn't that impressive, especially considering what happened in their first fight, when even a straight forward brawler like Morales was able to completely outbox him.
Salvador Sanchez, to be honest I've never actually seen him fight. But I can tell by his name that he sucked.
thank you for the pacman commentary, I would normally get riled up with those comments but your ending paragraph with SAL just nullifies whatever you said on the first ... lol

yeah i know i agree with the point you are trying to make but that's just ythe way ppl are ;) :banghead: half of them prob never even seen the fighters they talk about anyways :fing02:

Your just pointing out the faults of a fighter. No one is perfect.
think we need one now on why boxers don't 'suck' . :grumble:

Hey, I could have faked it and just looked up his losses on boxrec and used those. At least I'm being honest about it and not trying to say things about somebody who I've never seen fight.
4cornermessiah, I can tell by your name that you suck, so I don't care what you say.

Now your just being an idiot. You've never seen him fight, but by his name he sucks? Your stupid.
You got a good chance to say how Pacquioa sucks, so lets see it, lets see Salvador Sanchez too.

Oh, really? Robinson ducked every good black fighter of his time and the black guys he did fight gave him a hell of a time. Charlie Bell gave him the fight of his life until Robinson ko'd him. Robinson ducked Charlie Burley completely cause he knew he would lose. He ducked Randy Turpin for a long time until they finally fought, and when they did, Ray lost! And in their second fight Turpin was winning, until Robin got lucky and knocked him out. He ducked all these guys so he could fight slow footed italian white guys like jake lamotta, gene fullmer and carmen basilio, and he couldn't even win all those fights. Robinson padded his reecord by taking European tours fighting guys with records like 10-20 when Robinson already had over 100 fights. Ray Robinson di a lot of ducking and dodging in his career.
that is the dumbest thing i have ever seen in my life :)
This is a tough one bro...Bernard Hopkins.
Spent almost his entire career in the middleweight division, and never fought a decent middleweight. His reign of 19 or 20 straight title defences is a complete fraud because in most of those fights he was just defending an invalid alphabet belt, and he didn't even become the real undisputed middleweight champ until he beat Trinidad. So his reign of title defenses really consisted of about 5 or 6. Trinidad and De La Hoya were fighting way above their natural weight classes and were not actual middleweights, all of his other opponents might as well have been hobos off the street they sucked soo bad.
Ray Leonard
I can do one for Leonard.
Leonard was a feather fisted fighter who would run from all of his opponents in the ring. The one time he actually stood his ground and fought he got his ass kicked by Duran.
Most of his "wins" were gift decisions based on his popularity, much like De La Hoya. He was lucky enough to land some fluke punches against Hearns when he was trailing on points in their first fight, the draw in the second fight was ridiculous, and don't get me started on his so-called win agains Hagler.

Wow, someone even made one for Ray Robinson. This guy is even better than me at this.
