Ive never seen Karmazin and for some reason, I missed the Ouma fight but I cant remeber why. The only time Ive seen Baldy is in the Zab fight but alot of shit was happening in my house and I assumed that Zab would whoop him so I didnt pay much attention.
From what I did see in the Zab fight, it still seemed like it was more of Zab being shitty then it was of Baldy being good and I still thought Zab won anyway. Is that true?
I ask because I saw a reporter write a article saying that Baldy is one of the most underrated fighters in boxing and his win over Zab was no fluke. He said that Baldy hasnt lost in over 7 years and 19 fights. The reporter said that the Zab win was no fluke and everyone will see that when he beats Gatti. I think he could beat Gatti but that still wouldnt make him elite. How good is he? Could he be a threat to any of the top guys?
Ouma was always flawed but I still liked him and thought he would be hard to beat but it seems as though Karmazin killed him. How good is he? Can he hang with any of the top guys and how does he compare to a guy like Margarito, or are they just 2 totally different kind of fighters?
Karmazin is a great fighter, with good speed and technique. I have seen him sparr with my boy Vanes quite a few times at WildCard and I was impressed by his professionalism and true boxing skills.
He is also very hungy to make some money since he has left Don King who has screwed him over real bad on his run to becoming IBF World Champ.
Well I dont think Baldomir is terrible. I think hes an average fighter from what I saw against Judah. You could tell Judah was pretty scared to engage after he got cought, so it made it easier for Baldomir. I still laugh to this day when I see that round where he got hit and ran away the whole round. Now Karmazin looked solid against Ouma, but Ouma looked like shit that fight. So Im anxious to see what he does against spinks.
Karmazin appears to be a very good fighter but I'll save my final decision about him until after this weekend. I have only seen him fight once.
Baldomir is not that great of a fighter but I think he will give Gatti a tough fight and wouldn't be surprised if he beats him.
karmazin is a very good fighter! hes avoided dats y people were so shocked dat he beat Ouma! i werent surprised, i thort Ouma was taking a risk takin on dat fight! Very lean and big for his weight and a sharp puncher!
Baldomir i aint gota clue! lets c if he can beat gatti and lets c wa he does from der!
Baldy won 19 fights in a row and that record you should take him serouisly as well as Zab Judah belt.
If a guy beat 19 other guy to have a title shot then you should take him serouisly.
I think Karmazin is a hungry fighter who has the skills to do some damage at 154. I'd like to see an Ouma rematch though.
Baldy is very slow, plodding and limited.
He barely beat a clowning underprepared Judah.
Baldomir is a terrible fighter. Admirable, but terrible. I honestly think he is one of the worst fighters of all time to ever hold a title belt and a lot of shitty guys have won "titles". Zab is a pathetic individual for losing to him. Gatti will beat Baldomir in a slugfest, probably by decision.
Karmazin is a well-rounded fighter and a mentally strong individual. It was revealed after Ouma lost that he competed with a cold, so I guess you could say Ouma was "ill-prepared" for Karmazin. I honestly don't know who I'd pick to win a rematch between the two of them, but I'm picking Karmazin to beat Spinks. He's not nearly as fast as Judah, and it took Judah 9 rounds to catch Spinks, although Zab was clearly winning the fight before that. Karmazin wins, by decision most likely, but look for him to drop Spinks at least once along the way.
