im sick of fatton fightin nobodies & gettin over rated the top guys are & always have been floyd mayweather, zab judah, a much younger zoo, sharma mitchell, shane mosely, oscar de la hoya, jr witter fatton fought zoo when zoo had'nt boxed for yrs, fought him in his home arena with a shit ref & just wrestled him & low blowed him until zoo quit cos he was 2 old. absolutely pathetic carlos maussa gave him trouble (lmfao) & the bum collazo was fuckin robbed ! i admit fatton does have strength & power & is a real grafter & dirty tough fighter etc but he could never live with the top guys they been talkin about him fightin zab, sharmba etc for 5 fuckin yrs & they turned down floyd 2 yrs ago. there was talkin of fightin chop chop corley, paul spadafora, kelso pinto, vivian harris, this is many yrs later now & he still has'nt fought ANY BODY this is a brawler who went life & death with the great mark ramsey & the great bernard paul, a fat fuck who almost got stopped by the great gilbert quiros, a fraud who lauri was givin loads of trouble 2 (btw, jr witter destroyed lauri), cut 2 pieces by the great jon thaxton, dropped & outboxed by the great eamonn magee, apart from that he just fought blown up lightweights & old men ! do u really think that fatton would even win a round against a guy like floyd fuckin mayweather who stays in shape all year round & has mastered the art of hit & not get hit ? fatton will continue 2 dodge the top guys until he retires a rich man & sits down for the rest of his life drinkin beer 4 breakfast & stuffin his face with junk until he dies of a heart attack in his 40s he may fight, say, corrales or urkal or whatever, maybe even vivian harris, but who the fuck cares ?

Hatton is not fun to watch unless you like constant fouling, holding and hitting and wrestling. :D hatton has more skill fighting on the inside than anyone in the sport. he has the best body attack in the sport, he never stops going after his opponents, these are the atributes that make for an exciting boxer.

Hatton was the most exciting fighter since Nigel Benn, without a doubt. I can't believe you people never saw Hatton until recently, wasn't he on ShoBox or Showtime for like five years?? I didn't see him until recently for two reasons. 1. I don't have showtime and really don't plan on getting it. 2. I wasn't really watching boxing for a while.

I seriously think Augustus would beat Hatton, if he performed like he did against Ward he would have a good chance at beating Hatton. Augustus wouldn't be worthy of a fight with Hatton. He may have had the skills, but he has pissed his career away and is a journeyman. He is an entertaining fighter though.

And since when did fighting a southpaw mean that it's ok to get your ass beat? What Ricky never heard soutpaws box too? What, you think he sparred with conventional stance to train b4 the fight? The first fight I saw of Hatton was the most recent one. I remember looking away every now and then due to boredom. So, I wouldn't be able to say I've seen the ENTIRE match (even though I really only missed 10 mins tops) it didn't seem to be all that entertaining. However, from the stories I've heard of his other matches, it sounds like he should go against Gatti. What do you all think would happen in that match?

Collazo had him hurt and hurt bad. He has 12 knockouts in 28 fights. I don't know about hurt bad. Maybe momentarily stunned because he was eating a ton of leather. But that's to be expected, because every time Hatton charged in, he ate a flush four punch combo. His chin is made of space age steel man. The only time he's ever been down was against Eamon Magee. My only Quarrel comes with him fighting Collazo as opposed to Augustus. Augustus called him out, and said he'd fight him for 50 dollars. That fight would have been far more exciting then watching Hatton chase Collazo around like a crab and just pinch him and not let go. The fans were robbed of a compelling little prospect slugfest.
