Am I the Only One who Thinks Floyd-Winky can Happened?

I think there is a better chance of this fight happening then alot of you think and I along with Greg Leon thinks that Floyd was dead serious about it last time but there was no way he was going to jump from 140 straight to 154 to fight a Winky who had been there his whole life, just had a fight at 160, and is the 2nd best fighter in the world, for 50/50. Floyd wouldve been so stupid to do that. Winky said dumb things like he had nothing to gain but now Floyd is at 147 and was going to fight at 154 against Oscar anyway, so what is Winky's excuse now? If Winky wants 50/50 then the fight wont happened. If Winky fights for 60/40 then it will definatly happened and if he fights for 55/45 I think there is a 50-50 chance it happeneds. Again, Winkys said he wouldnt take anything less then 50/50 last time because Floyd was too small and he was taking all the risk. Now, Floyd is small but he was going to fight at 154 anyway and has had 2 fights at 147, so you cant say that you deserve 50/50 for the same reason. Winky is not Oscar and Floyd is not going to give him 50/50 when he's not the bigger name and he has all the advantages. If its 60/40 then I bet anyone that Floyd takes that fight and if its 55/45 then theres still a good chance. Winky is also trying to use Floyd, now. He talked his way out of the Taylor instant rematch, he said all this shit about wanting to move up and fight Calzaghe, but now like a little boy he wants little Floyd. Then he thinks Floyd will do it for 50/50? Floyd can fight Margarito for 8 mil. You know Winky will have to give in enough for Floyd to come out better then that deal. If this fight doesnt happened then Floyd will get criticize for it as always but Im telling you that Floyd will be very interested in this fight but he's not a fool. If anyone thinks Floyd shouldve fought him for 50/50 last time then your crazy and if you think he should fight him for 50/50 this time then your crazy. Not saying that Floyd can win, but like he said, "No one's going to beat me with just a jab". If you watch Floyd's fights and Winky's fights then its not even close in terms of overall talent. If they were the same size then Floyd would kill him. Dont count out this fight not happening and if it did, then dont count Floyd out in it. He is still the best all around fighter in the game and no one around his weight is just going to dominate him.

it would be a snorefest that's what many people also said about Wright-Taylor before it happened, but it was to great fighters and we all know how good that turned out to be..

Floyd would have to be stupid to take 50/50 here. The move in weight plus his opponent doesnt make sense for that kind of money.

its not going to happen floyd knows better. wink has long lasting talent speed goes away and he has more than just a jab he goes to the body and his defence is better wink is to smart for floyd we can only hope for this fight

DLT, I was actually quoting myself in my post. That wasn't Winky talking with the quotation marks...that was me. Here it is, and I dont trust Shaw. I dont believe they agreed to 50/50 because the whole time Floyd said no to that. I cant believe everyone thinks Floyd is running when he said 55/45. Its crazy to me. Winky wants to call out little Floyd instead of fighting Calzaghe like he said he was going to do. Floyd came into the ring for a 147 pound fight weighing 146 and he started at 130. Winky is arguably the Middleweight Champ of the world and he wanted Floyd to jump from 140 to fight him for 50/50. Is he crazy? People hate Floyd so much that they think he is crazy for just wanting 55/45 for that. I thought Floyd was crazy to even do it for that much but he was going to do it. Now Floyd is bigger but he is still a very small guy and Winky still wants 50/50. I cant believe how people rip Floyd for that. Ill try to pull up the old link where the fight was signed but Shaw was upset because he said that Floyd changed it to 55/45 at the last second

Mayweather wanted Wright to weigh in twice, once at the original weigh in, and once on the day of the fight. He also didn't want Winky coming into the fight weighing over 157. Yeah, sounds like a guy who's confident about the jump, LOL. In other words: "Winky must come in at the fight weight all 140 fighters come in at anyway. Mayweather is free to do his usual routine minus the dehydrating and rehydrating." Wow, so he'll fight him if they both drop to 140 but get it sanctioned for 154. He's definitely trying to be slick and underhanded about this, too bad he has all the brains and subtlety of a cinder block. This just proves Mayweather fears for his life on a daily basis. The day he can't sleaze his way out of a fight against a legitimate opponent is the day he gets KOed. Until then, look to see the trend of fighting no name fighters continue.How do you know that? Thats only what Winky said, and again that was so old. They had been passed that and Floyd wasnt worried about the weight. I have a very recent article where the fight was agreed on and signed but Shaw got mad at the end because he said that Floyd agreed to 50/50 but then they wanted 55/45. Arum said they never agreed to 50/50 and I believe Arum because not once did him or Floyd said they would fight for 50/50 and like I said, why should he. I cant believe that you guys think Floyd is running when he said he would fight Winky for 55/45. I cant believe you guys are saying that. You guys dont think thats reasonable?

OMG, nevermind about this thread. I just read Winky's article and he's still saying 50/50. Why the hell would Floyd do that? Is he a fucking idiot? He really thinks he's Oscar. He wanted 50/50 when Floyd was way back at 140 because he said that he was too big. I still dont get how that makes sense. Now when Floyd is up there where he's at, he still wants 50/50 and all of you are going for it. Why do you guys on here just keep talking about the fighters instead of the business side. There is no way Floyd should fight Winky for 50/50. There was definatly no way back then and there is no way now just because of what he said back then. Why should Winky get 50/50 when he's not the bigger name, he's the much bigger fighter, and he's a elite guy. Why would Floyd do that and why would anyone on here have the nerve to say that Floyd is running for not taking that horrible offers. He thinks he's doing Floyd a favor? Its a joke

Wont happen, Gary Shaw called Floyd bluff the last time by throwing 8 million at him and Floyd turned it down. Every time they matched an offer, Floyd wanted more. The fight wont happen. You cant just throw out a number and act like that means something. The 8mil was still 50/50 and Floyd wasnt doing that and I dont blame him at all. Augustus could offer Floyd 8mil but he wouldnt take that either if it was 50/50. Winky didnt deserve 50/50 when he had all the advantages

Golden words from o wise one, BPP right there. Floyd has no intention of ever fighting Winky. DLT, I take it you didn't hear about Floyd's desperate offers for the weigh-in? The weighin stuff was initally but alot of people do different offers at the begining of negotioations. They moved off that very quick and dont forget that Floyd was coming from 140, so its not tremendously unreasonable when Winky just killed Tito at 160
