I keep hearing about Julio's inexperienced, as implying that Quintana was more experienced. Which isn't true.
Can someone explain to me how a fighter with less fights is supposed to be more experienced than a fighter with 40 more fights under his belt. Unless we are counting number of rounds fought or age. :rolleyes:
Joel Julio;
85 amateur
27 pro
Quintana;
50 amateur
22 pro

I feel ya, but I think the difference in the fight were styles NOT experience. Whoever stands in front of Julio gets KOd, period, if they put him up against another boxer with skills, it'd be a long night for Julio.
Carlos Quintana has more years of experience and time spent in the gym training. Quintana is a smart wiley boxer using brains and technique along with punching power to outclass his opponent.
Quintana should fight any of the top names in the Welterweight division.
Joel Julio is still a very gifted fighter and could take down almost anyone who would stand directly in front of him. :boxing:
