Winky vs Taylor Round 12: Who won it?

I should have put it up with out the sound. I think HBO's ignorance sways some people.

Speaking objectively: Taylor won it. Taylor was the agressor, and landed something that wasn't a "tap" on the face. Winky didn't do anything. Laughable. Watch the clip. Winky started his "running" with what, like 15 seconds left? And then he jumped in with a straight left hand, one of the better punches of the round, and that was it. His "running" was clearly a defense mechanism against a desperate, last judge and Lampley-loving flurry. Winky controlled this round.

Greg Leon is one of the biggest morons that assosciates himself with boxing. You should know not to pay mind to his statements even if he is a Winky nuthugger. LOL!! he is a moron, and one bias mother fucker as well.

The only critiscm I give Winky is based on the fact that he had an exhausted Taylor in front of him, with his eye swelled shut, and he didnt go after him. With that said he CLEARLY won the round. HBO commentators are a joke, and Dan Rafael is a joke for thinking he gave away the round. By default? Someone needs to cock slap Rafael...

I honestly think Winky won that round, what everybody wanted to see was Winky stand in front of Taylor. Winky knew Taylor was going for the knockout, so he did the smart thing, he didn't lay back that round, he just out boxed Taylor, plain & simple.

In boxing sometimes it doesn't matter if a fight like winky is blocking punches, a fighter can win a round even if he didn't land cause he was the busier fighter. And that's called a robbery and poor judging. Past predence for poor judging doesn't make judging poorly again right.

Nobody claimed that you thought Taylor won, and nobody is "getting on your ass". Starting to turn me on though with all of you kinky talk. One thing people have to get to is that despite what compubox says in fight there are different levels of power shots. Like taken an Ouma fight for example. If somebody didn't know who Ouma was and just saw punch stats from a fight they'd be asking, "Jesus, how is his opponent still alive???" Score a powershot as a punch unless it clearly packed some more power behind it.

It's unbelievable how the HBO guys changed their tune in the last minute of the round. In the middle of the round Lamps even used the word 'abusing' to refer what Winky was doing to Taylor, and then in the last 15 seconds they start with 'he's giving Taylor the round'. Taylor never landed.

i mean partially connected punches, its hard to tell if they graze him at all or are completely taken away by his gloves. and some people have different views on how partial connections should be scored too, so that kind of adds to it Wright looks like he's in survival mode when he fights. And if you've noticed To the novice viewer who hasn't seen him fight before, and really isin't familiar with his tactics.....they think he's hurt. They think he shakes his head at opponents because he's been hurt by a punch, and is being a smart ass. When they see him cover up and block a flurry and smile, they think he's getting his ass kicked. Yeah, so um not true. He's just toying with people and in a way he toyed with Taylor.
