Have the judges input their score after each round so the fighters know what they have to do to win. Also, this would take away on some of the scandals and produce better decisions.
Do you have any proof to these allegations?
Rockin' :boxing:
i have as much proof as you saying its not fixed....
james toney vs haseem rahman is perfect example ...rahman lands over 50 illegal shots with 1 warning... on more then one occasion he ramed his elbow right into toneys throagt with one of the occasions where the ref has to litrally pry haseem off toney...
the shit is fixed ...nobody would go into the final round and just throw the fucking round away ....fighters dont do that ..esspessially ones that have been waiting for there break through chance... winky knew what his place was last night
THe problem isn't the judges or the Ref (usually), but merely the scoring system which is used to judge fights. It is in bad need of an overhaul and guidelines so judges should be much more in agreement as to why a fighter wins a round.
yeah i dont think they should do it either.... the fighters should come in and fight the whole time
wright knew gosh damn well what he was suposed to do;...everyone i've talked to had him up 2 and said he threw away the 12th...the fucker threw it away because he was suposed to
big money fights are fixed boxing is nothing more then the wwf now and its comming trust me ....we got hatton grabbing up the mic after a win we got fucking entrances where fire works and shit go off ... its comming folks the truth is comming out eventually we're gonna see how fucked up boxing is and how its all a show
They experimented with that in the early 80's and nothing was done with it.
I like the way that it is. If a fighter knows that he is ahead he will coast for the rest of the fight putting himself in little or no danger until the final bell rings.
Its been done like this for 100 years, I see no need to change it. I find that the rendering of the decisions is a climactic end to a fight. Sure some are bogus and seem unjust, but I like it the way that it is.

While the idea is flawed, just because it's been done this way for a century now doesn't mean it shouldn't be changed. Judging has to be amended and changed for the better as one of the many steps to fix boxing. I'm not suggesting displaying the score, but an overhaul of the system in general. BUt this is merely rambling and stream of consciousness at the moment, so feel free to ignore it.

Why not display the round scores on a scoreboard like other sports? | BoxingScene Community
