The elite fighter aren't worried about belts anymore. A great fighter doesn't need a ton of hardware accompanying him to the ring. Most fighters can get their fights for a title if they want to anyway. If you're a big-name fighter and you want to carry a title belt - even if it's a Latino title, a Continental Americas title, an NABO - what ever - you can be fighting for a belt. it's of no consequence... the WBC is on the line, Wright doesn't care about belts, he cares about fighting the big names. Wright's saving around $200,000 by nay-saying the WBA, WBO titles... smart move IMO btw, for the Taylor fans, i'm pretty sure the way it's working is if Taylor wins, he keeps his belts all the same, if he loses, the WBA and WBO titles then become vacant.
