Malignaggi got screwed

Yea you gotta be fuckin kidding me with the biggest poser in boxing. Malignaggi lost the fight, on the other hand he fought with a big cut bleeding into his eye for 12 rounds, and fractured bone in his face and an extremely swollen jaw and still managed to have good moments and win about 4 rounds against one of the best punchers in the sport. Paulie isn't posing as shit with the heart he displayed. My question for you to find out is has any1 tested cotto like malignaggi did for 12 rounds? L'Dou barely no1 else

paulie did not win the fight period im a malignaggi fan, and can even see that what is wrong with some of you people? and he did not nearly knock down cotto...he dazed cotto and got him off balance I don't even remember if I gave him 1 round..... also a joke...you should stop scoring fights then

I'm sorry but how many cretinous fools have been posting in this thread, are you blind or is it the fact that because ur a cotto fan you failed to notice that malignagi was ROBBED!!! myself and a friend of mine (neither of which had an opinion about either fighter) both scored the fight to malignagi! I believe that the judges were swayed by the cuts, and by the slip early on in the fight. Here are a few things some of you may have forgotten when judging paulies ability: 1)Cotto is fighting in a weight below his natural weight, and even had the weigh in early so he had more time to increase his weight. 2)This was Malignagi's firts 12 round fight, most fighters at this position in their career would not even consider going after the champ, and yet Malignagi did and kept throwing good/on target punches up to the final bell. 3)Malignagi has been out of training for quite some time in the past couple of years due to hand injuries, so is most likely not in the best position of his career. If you morons are not yet getting this LISTEN - OK the fact of the matter is the yes Cotto is a better fighter, i do not dispute that, but the fact that you arrogant bastards are trying to put down a good fighter with lots of heart just because he's not a power puncher and because he talks a bit of trash, here's another couple of points for ya: Malignagi nearly put cotto down after a hook under his ear (or maybe u went blind for a few seconds), and secondly after the fight malignagi even admitted that he did talk trash. lots of love u worthless fuckwits!!!! :boxing: Hahahahahahahah, this is the most ridiculous post that I have ever seen on BS. Iv'e seen the fight 3 times.....Malignaggi NEVER "nearly put Cotto down". He caught cotto while Cotto was off balance and Cotto moved back, but Cotto was not rocked or nearly put down. And for the "slip" are you talking about the knock down that was caused by the crushing hard left that Cotto landed that nearly penetrated Paulie's skull? malignaggi showed heart against cotto, i thought that he would quit after getting his face cracked real good like that. he showed he was tough. but i think after this he aint going to be the same and is going to be gun shy when he heals up. i honestly think that cotto zapped some of that tough guy out of him and malignaggi isnt going to be as competitive at the world level. he's just going to back fighting C level club fighter and calling himself the man, more than likely....... agree or disagree this is what i think is going to happen to malignaggi.

cotto malignaggi paulie is a good fighter but he will never be able to beat cotto. and as 4 all the excuseses like the ring was to small or the weight in was to early is ridiculous because if anything paulie looked more solid than miguel plus miguel looked tired early in the fight but he still won and he swelled paulies face with his injured left hand so if paulie was to fight miguel again and cotto's 100% cotto will knock paulie the fuck out!

Yea Paulie can def win a strap at 140 i think. He can take a punch obviously from a guy who can hit and who outweighed him by 15 lbs. And all the big punchers r movin up to welter. And in my opinion I think Paulie is somebody that boxing needs right now, I mean look at it this way he took a fight in which was supposed to be a cakewalk for cotto, was thrown in the lions den and the way he hyped up the fight a lot of ppl paid attnetion to it and then he actually turned it into a good competive fight as well as exciting, George Foreman said "this is just the type of fight boxing needs." and on top of that i have never seen so many threads on one fight here on the forums and ive been around for a few yrs here. And Paulie isnt even a established fighter yet, this is his first big fight and look what he did already imagine if he wins a belt??? shit, enough said WHere did you hear that Cotto weighed 15 pounds more? paulie usually enters around 146-148, Cotto usually enters 155 or so. there was no unofficial weight released for this fight.
