What happened to Abner Mares?

This guy is one of my favorite prospects. He was very active fighting every month or two, but he has been inactive for 4 months now....Did he get hurt? Abner's people have being moving him around from trainer-to-trainer and I'm not sure that is going to be good for his career. In the past 6 months, Mares has gone through 3-to-4 trainers. That is the kind of thing that can really ruin a young prospect. His father is behind it so you just never know.
