Today out in print, Edwin Rollon of manilastandardtoday.com reports that Games and Amusements Board chairman Eric Buhain confirms that Mayweather Jr. is considering fighting Manny Pacquiao.
Buhain is quoted in Manila Standard Today.com in regards to Mayweather vs Pacquiao: “It’s going to be a blockbuster. Our friends in the world boxing council tipped this to us, and if plans push through, this would be the biggest break for Manny.”
Buhain added: “Manny’s ideal weight is 130 lb, but he can fight at 135 and Mayweather is willing to trim down from 140 to 135 just to fight Pacquaio.”
It will be a sad day for Pac-fans if he steps into the ring with Floyd....unrelentless assault of bombs on Pacquiao's melon.
He wasn't an underdog in any fight except the dried up dog shit that was De La Hoya on fight night.
Yeah, tell that to Teddy Atlas, a world renowned boxing authority, so they say.

Let certain Manny fans tell it, he has always been the dog in every one of his BIG fights.
It's general knowledge that Floyd came out of retirement to fight Pacquiao. But something happened. Pac demolished all these fighters as an underdog in astonishing fashion. Floyd got scared. He pretended he still wanted the fight. Unfortunately, Team Pac made a mistake of not calling all his bluffs.
Something happened again that sealed the deal with Floyd not to have anything to do with Pac. Pac made Clottey look like a punching bag and Floyd heard Pac say right after the fight that it's frustrating to be doing all the punching without being reciprocated, and that it's more tiring. Something to that effect. Then Pac added, "Floyd could be easier."

You guys are funny...."Floyd would easily TKO Pac"....Floyd is out of the KO business and has been for several years. Floyd is more likely to get tko'd if anything......that potshotting one-two crap won't cut it in there against the Asian buzzsaw...Floyd's face needs reconstructive surgery to repair the damage.
This is a funny post. Back in 06, he actually would have stopped Manny late. Heck, I have him stopping Manny late now.

Until he gets his "magic shakes"....right, Chups?
LOL
Complete with adjustments to masking agents and steroid cycles.
:lol1: Too small for 135, he should make him come down to 130...:lol1:... That's just a glimpse of that catchweight mentality...

indeed. almost nobody saw what manny would become. just watched pac vs morales II and hearing the commentators slobber all over how manny had improved so much since the first fight... i was like, man, you ain't seen nothin yet
typical of MW to go after the smaller guys.... p4p king? Lol, Bernard Hopkins is the p4p king (and was after his fights with taylor in my eyes)
Floyd is a p4p pretender who wants easy fights. Give him gatti and sharmbe. and little packie.
You are a fool if you think Hopkins is the P4P king. He was before the Taylor fights, but he is definately not now. Even IF he won both fights in some peoples eyes, it doesnt matter. Taylor did enough to get both decisions, especially the second fight.
Floyd is hands down P4P king.
Pac is second.
Then Wright.
