Antonio Tarver Antonio Tarver respects De La Hoya and Mayweather Jr. as fighters, but questions the level of opposition they have faced, calling them B-Level. Kevin Van Brimmer of the TCPalm quotes Tarver as saying: "Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya are great fighters, but I feel I'm the best fighter today. There's no fighter out there doing the things I'm doing, knocking out legends. These guys are going the distance with 'B' level fighters, fighting life and death with 'B' fighters. tarver is 1-1 with harding 2-1 with Jones 1-1 with Johnson. Lost the first fight and almost lost the second fight. He was hurt the final round trying to prove he could go toe-to-toe with johnson for one round afer boxing and moving. Got hurt and was holding on till the end of the round.

wasn't he getting beat up by eric harding, and even got a broken jaw until harding got careless and tarver ko'd him in the late rounds? and what about his performance against johnson the first time, where he ran out of gas and layed on the ropes towards the end of the fight. those two fights are far more "life in death" than anything mayweather has faced. also, oscar has fought top fighters and legends like: tito,hopkins,vargas,quartay,,mosley. tarver is just talking out of his ass.....again.
