Tarver is a legend killer and I got him at number one in my pound for pound list. Floyd Mayweather Jr. never knocked out a legend before let alone kill one. Same thing with Oscar De La Hoya. Oscar had his chance to kill a legend when he fought Pernell Whitaker, but he was unable to kill Sweat Pea's legend. When Oscar fought JCC, he should've KO'd him and I would've given him respect...instead JCC got cut the first time they fought and the second time he pulled a No Mas like my boy Tyson did against McBride. Classic move by JCC. There's no shame in saying No Mas when you feel like pimping the system.

Tarver has really made himself one of the most hated fighters...nothing is enough for him. He KO'd one legend, and then couldn't do it again AFTER Glen Johnson KTFO'd the same legend. Then like CUFreeze said, he splits two DECISIONS to Johnson...tell me where are all the other legends that he KO'd? Eric Harding? Chris Johnson? Ernest Mateen? DLH and Mayweather have alot more on their resume than two wins vs. a faded P4Per and one win vs. a strong journeyman. Oh, and I don't think DLH went the distance with Mayorga...

I usually stick up for Tarver just for what he has overcome to be succesful, but it's hard to justify any defense of him with these quotes.
