ok well it look slike Brewster is the Toughest HW with Toney and Peter tied for second. I must have had a good list because no one added anyone else. I'm still shocked that peter was so high without ever being in a war, i would put Guinn,Barrett,Bryd and even Ruiz ahead of him.

Toney hasnt taken the kind of punishment that Brewster has thats why Brewster should be the man in this poll. He has taken incredible punishment and come back to win. I like both of them, You are right, but i also believe that if Toney had to take that punishment, he could, Just just never has to because he is too skilled. He did take alot from jirov and didn't move. Mesi took those same type of shoots, and was put down 3 times and lost his boxing rights.

IMO James Toney has done nothing to deserve the seemingly endless amounts of title shots or any "big money fights." Besides, who else is gonna offer him more than 1.5 million? Its not like he's ppv material either. James Toney is a certified legend and they will dish out more money for this fight to happen....

A punch landed flush, and toney went down. toney was off balance and it was more jones shoulder hitting toney. that was hardly a legit knockdown,,plus toney bounced right up on rock steady legs and toney was never hurt in that fight once from what I recall

maybe our definition of toughness differs..brewster hasnt been in enough wars to be tough....and no that wald shit dont count....no HW has dropped toney...thats tough being that this guy was once a MW...the word tought in boxing is standard for James Toney.. toney is such a good defensive fighter that he's rarely been hit flush. he blocks punches with his shoulders and brewster has been in wars. in my opinion toughness is the ability to take punishment and keep coming back. I dont think any of the other guys have taken as much punishment as brewster and kept coming. maybe toney would if hit more often.,.but his defense has always been so good that he's never taken a beating in a fight
