Mayweather Sr - "My son is a Monster" , "Little Floyd"

Has anyone seen this yet ? Another intresting article about Mayweather Sr on "Little Floyd" A Change of Heart has transplanted Mayweather Sr's stance about training De La Hoya to defeat his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Speaking to Kevin Iole of The Las Vegas Review Journal, Mayweather Sr explained his change of heart. Mayweather is quotes by the Las Vegas Review Journal saying: "Little Floyd came to his (grandmother's) house with this big entourage and he was all friendly and nice, but he didn't know I was there. When I came out from the back, he just looked at me and left. He didn't say a word. Mayweather Sr added: "My son is a monster. I hate to say it, but it's true. That's what he is. He wants to fight Oscar, not because he thinks it's some great challenge, but because he wants to be able to say he beat his daddy. Well, I'll tell you what, Little Floyd might be able to beat Oscar, but he won't be able to beat Oscar with his daddy in Oscar's corner." If the dollar amount is right, Mayweather Sr is now ready to help Oscar defeat his son. Mayweather further told the Las Vegas Review Journal: "Let's be real and call it what it is. I hate to say it, but I speak the truth. And he's kidding himself if he thinks he's just going to walk in there and blow Oscar out. Little Floyd is a great fighter, but Oscar is a great fighter, too, and Oscar is a lot bigger than little Floyd. And with me in Oscar's corner, that changes a lot of things. I taught little Floyd everything he knows, but not everything I know."

Floyd Sr. is a basket case, I spoke with him years back and in the course of a 30 minute conversation he said he would never train against his son followed by a hell yeah I would train a fighter to beat my son...flip flop. He went back and fourth on this issue just like he is doing now...if the money is right he is in after all it appears lil floyd is not giving senior much in the way of charity.

FATHER'S DAY?: The biggest roadblock to a megafight between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been Mayweather's father, who trains De La Hoya. That problem may have a $2-million solution. In a recent interview with the Grand Rapids Press , Floyd Mayweather Sr. backed off his earlier comments that he would never train another fighter to beat his son. According to the article, that change is brought on by a near-meeting between father and son last week. Big Floyd was at his mother Bernice 's home when his son showed up. Told his father was inside, Little Floyd left. If De La Hoya comes up with the cash, it appears the proposed fall fight, which would be the biggest of the year, is okay by Big Floyd. "If Oscar talks to me now about fighting my son and if he comes up with the right digits for me, to where I'm comfortable with it, the fight is on," he said in the article. "That's something I don't want to do. I've been trying to avoid it. But mark my words, my son would get hurt. Oscar may take a few punches, but Floyd is going to get stopped in the fight because I'm going to make it happen. It's 12 rounds. At some point, he's going to get hit. And if he gets hit and hurt, the fight is over."

Mayweather Sr. and Mayweather Jr. should stop hating each other, their father and son. Its dumb for a father to hate his son and vice versa. They should just talk it out.. Usually when the son hates the father theirs a reason. I wouldnt be surprised if this relationship was similar to the relationship that Roy Jones has with his dad. Just you usual instance of the father pushing the son to hard. I know I heard that Sr used to cuss him out whenever he would mess up while training which is similar to the way Roy's dad would hit him on the back of the calf with a switch whenever he would mess up.

i dont know, if many of them are buying it. Who wouldnt wanna buy this fight? This fight will be the career finishing fight for Oscar and with a win over Floyd, it will put him in the top 10 all time p4p list IMO.

This actually makes a De La Hoya/Mayweather fight all the more interesting for me.Floyd Sr has some valid points,but it is irritating that he takes all the credit for Floyd Jr's style.Didn't Roger have a lot to do with it too?Also,the Little Floyd can beat Oscar,but not when im in his corner comment is ridiculous!He is taking credit for Oscars natural born skills. well seeing how floyd sr was in prison when floyd jr turned pro he definitely has had minimal influence on floyd jr inside the ring i dont think their problems are fake because floyd jr is the one that always tries keeping family business out of the papers and websites floyd sr is always the one talking bad about floyd jr only a couple times has floyd jr really verbally attacked his dad publicly its pretty bad for an old man to be stalking someone half his age or younger let alone his own son some posters on this forum should take note of that i agree dlh should dump floyd sr hell i think dlh has him as a figurehead and maybe even as just an excuse to not fight floyd jr although i sort of doubt this b/c dlh doesnt duck people so strike that i guess dlh figures he can train himself so he keeps floyd sr in his corner cause i just see and hear floyd sr and does anybody really think oscar gets training from that old homeless looking guy? floyd sr is a heartless street hustler plain and simple and it shows more and more all the time

very good mayweather sr is trash he does nothing but try using his son to make a name for himself ever since he got out of prison wish hed do something crazy and go back there its no coincidence that roger and jeff have something to do with jr but not sr floyd jr has accomplished everything he has despite being floyd srs son and not because of it point you make...I think this would be a fight that I will not pay to see or ever watch only because of the circumstances behind it...Oscar should run as far away from this as possible....by getting rid of Sr...
