Who wins this potential fight of the year? :boxing:
I think Arce takes him the hell out of there inside of 8 rounds, Darchinyan has a good chin but he's just too easy to hit.
i'd give the nod to Arce
Really, you had great potential on picking fight results until this point.
I see you almost had Darchinyan vs Maldonado on the money, just 1 round off.
I actually put money on the fight in Vegas - 8 Rounds or less. Felt good to barely win.
oh and my boy Vanes, who was in VIC's corner also Won that same day in Vegas.

Who the fuck is Villoria? Have you even seen his fights. This guys is a bum and I dont understand how he is going this far. This is all BULLSHIT. VILLORIA IS A D CLASS FIGHTER. This guy is a bum and whoever says otherwise prove to me what he has done or how he will beat VIC.
Vic vs VIlloria = VILLORIA GETS KTFO of the RING. Ill fuck up Villoria my self. Hes a slugger but once he gets in the ring with the Raging Bull he will see what Vic represents.
My prediction: Vic KOs VIlloria in round 2 or 3. Mark my word this is what will happen if the fight ever happens. I will put money on it.
you don't know who villoria is? and you will knock him out yourself. Talk about clown clowning by making himself look like ass.
wow  i took four pages before this vanesboxing guy got to reply to a thread that has a "VIC" on it. damn, im so disappointed. :(
lolll You are funny Bong Bong.
I was late to this thread because it took a while to get back from the fight in VEGAS.
Good enough excuse for you ?? :)
Here is a pic of VIC owning Maldonado, just 4 you

Hey bong bong u tryin to get some points in exchange for worthless posts? Go fuck urself homeboy.
And what goes for Arce, he is a chicken for not fighting Vic. What will he say now that Vic is willing to go up in weight for him? Better yet what are u bitches gonna say now?
IF (BIG IF) this fight happens, VIC will KO Arce in 8 Rounds or less, but the way it looks, Arce isn't too interrested in fighting VIC because he knows well he can't handle Darchinyan's power.
In the words of Darchinyan, "Arce is a chicken"

Hey buddy,
REASONS WHY VIC IS THE LORD OF THE FLYS
First, Vic Darchinyan wants to fight anyone with belts. BUT unfortunately nobody wants to risk their belts fighting him.
Second, Vic has won his last 4 title fights by KO.
Third, he has power that impresses everyone who fights him.
I agree that Arce might have good boxing skills but this is the flyweight division. Vic wears down his opponents and comes the middle rounds he KTFO of them without any effort.
THis is why he is called the "LORD OF THE FLYS."
Vic is not the best in the division for reasons I already stated. His competion has been sub par so far. And he has struggled with some like Gabi. Lorenzo Parra's competion is superior to anyone in the flyweight division. Hell even Arce's competion can be arguably better than Vic's. I'm not saying that Vic isn't a good fighter because he is. But to call him the best in the division when Parra and Arce are there is being biased.

He would get outboxed, yet it wouldn't matter all that much because when Round 8 came, Vic would land a left BOMB and good night Parra.
We heard these same things when Vic was going to fight Gabi, Vic broke his jaw in the 8th and people still werent satisfied. Then it was all the same stuff over and over before Maldonado - "Vic has no defense, no boxing skills, bla bla bla" and he put Maldonado on the canvas for the first time in his career and won by TKO in Round 8.
Lets see how much more the talk will continue against VIC and when the fans will finally be satisfied and say, Hey, you know what, he is a great boxer with lots of power and the BEST flyweight in world.
Who besides filipinos gave Gabi a chance against Vic. He hasn't beaten anybody even in the top 20. Vic had a harder time with him than he should have. Tell me somebody in the top 30 that Maldonado ever beat. Maldonado was just an undefeated fighter with a padded record. Gabi skills don't even come close to Parra's so if Gabi gave him a tough fight what do you think Parra would do to Vic.
Parra beat Morel when he was ranked # 1 in the Ring Magazine so yes he is the best and and when you compare his opposition it is better than Vics. Believe me Parra is the last person Fenech or Vic want. He is not a brawler but a master boxer with very impressive counter-punching ability. And with Vics non existent defense he would get out boxed easily by Parra.

Parra has 2 or 3 impressive victories just like Vic so he is DEFINITELY NOT CLEARLY THE BEST.
The only way he can prove he is, is by unifying his WBA belt with Vic's IBF and IBO. Do you think he would do this?? Well the answer is NO, because like the rest of the flyweights he isn't sure if he can take Vic's punches and stay on his feet.

Oh ya bro, Viloria -vs- Vic isnt gonna happen, believe me.
Arce is great, and it will be a slugfest if it ever happens. The thing is, Vic has SO MUCH power, that it pretty much offsets any other weakness he may have.
Look at what a 33-0 Luis Maldonado that had never hit the canvas in his career said about the recent JUNE 3rd fight in Vegas.
Luis Maldonado: "He's too strong," Maldonado said. "I know I landed some good punches, but he is too strong and you don't know where the punches are coming from."
...
Then he goes on to say that he was glad the ref stepped in and stopped the fight because he was really hurt.
Arce is fierce, and perhaps more skilled than VIC, but he definitely doesn't have that power which VIC can give him just one in the late rounds and put him to sleep.

No doubt about it he has unbelievable power at that weight but until this fight actually happens we will never know. If Arce can keep the fight in a phone booth and stay away from range he can outwork , outhustle and possibly even knock him out cuz you know he's gonna go after Vic. He'll have to be at his VERY BEST because I agree with you that Vic can literally end guys with his left hand. We can only wait and see...
Lorenzo Parra has fought better opposition than both Arce and Vic. And he beat the # 1 guy in the division Eric Morel in his own backyard. He is clearly the best.

Lorenzo Parra wont fight anyone strong. Vic has called him out too. No way he is the number one right now.
Flyweights - 112 Pounds
BOXREC #1 - Jorge Arce
BOXREC #2 - VIC DARCHINYAN
The rest really dont matter at this point.
I agree Arce will bring alot for VIC, but again, that 1 punch is all Vic needs and im sure he will find one opening to land it.
another Maldonado quote - now this says it all...
"He did hurt me a couple of times like I have never been hurt before and I thought the stoppage was good." said Maldonado in defeat.

I've seen 3 of Vic's fight and he can definitly punch but he has leaks in his defense especially when he keeps his right hand down. Stamina may also be a problem he fought a high paced fight with Irene Pacheco and was gassed out by the later rounds until the fireworks incident that bought him 10 minutes. If he were to fight Arce I would pick Arce because he will smother him with lots of punches and make him fight a fast paced fight that may wear him down for the later roounds. if you notice in the Gabi fight Vic caught Gabi when he was on the outside. Arce would be in his face the whole night and won't let him land his full extended left hand. And by the way Lorenzo Parra is the best Flyweight in the world today.
