For god sake can everyone stop hugging his FUCKING nuts! I respect the guy and he is very good...but now that he beat lacy, he is unbeatable. Let me let you guys in on a little secret....Lacy was never great! He was muscly and he had power but he was no boxer. He used power to win and he met a boxer in calzaghe. I always thought Lacy was overhyped and one dimensional. Now apparently Kessler aint Shit compared to Calzaghe, Mundine aint Shit compared to Calzaghe, Beyer aint Shit compared to Calzaghe, Green aint Shit compared Calzaghe and he is totally unbeatable? What a load of crap, styles make fights people and the only one of them with a style resembling Lacy is Alan Green and he would get beaten by Calzaghe. But Kessler...the guy is FUCKING huge and he can hit....but he can box unlike lacy, it wouldnt be a walk in the park for Joe. Mundine is very very quick, great evasive skills....not heaps powerful but he got some power..he knocked out Rick Thornberry which is something joe didnt. Beyer.....he aint great but when the odds are stacked against him he seems to fight well. He probably wouldnt beat Joe but dont under estimate him. Like i said, all the respect in the world for joe and i think he is the man in the division but for god sake....he is not unbeatable, lacy was the first champ he had fought in something like 11 years and mostly the rest were nobodies. All the hype is just really starting to get to me and i think some people need reality checks
It`s your`s opinion, but i still say Siaca was robber, you have obviously not seen the fight
I've only seen the highlights on Eurosport and read a few reports. It wasn't televised outside of France as far as I know, so I doubt you've seen it in full either, if at all.
Funnily enough, the only report I've seen that claimed it was a robbery was by a Puerto Rican journalist.
Woodhall a bum? Fuck off you novice. He was a good WBC champion and an Olympic medallist, only losing to RJJ in the semis and giving him a really good fight. He beat 3 world champs. He gave Keith Holmes a tough fight even though he was fighting injured and had surgery on his elbow only 2 weeks before the fight. You only have to see the guy fight to know that's he's a class fighter, something which you clearly haven't.
Beyer's achieved A LOT more than Kessler. 3 time world champ and he's beaten better fighters. Woodhall was hurt early but pretty much outboxed Beyer for the rest of the fight.
Siaca is not hugely underrated, he's a decent fringe top 10 fighter and nothing more. There was absolutely nothing premature about the Mitchell stoppage and the 2nd fight was close, certainly not a robbery if that's what you were implying. He did not have a "clear victory" over Girard either. The fight was close and could have been called either way.
Compare Kessler's resume to JC's after 37 fights. Not good.

duh. And 168 is full of fighters who just get by. RJJ vs. Calzaghe would be a good fight at this point. Maybe Hopkins could go over there, Glenn Coffe. Joe just better stay away from Tarver.

Woodhall :D :D :D A bum who got knock down three times by Macus Beyer
Siaca lost to Mitchell twice. Green was an old man when Kessler fought him and he was never more than OK anyway. JC stopped Mitchell in 2003, in 2 rounds. Is that recent enough for you?
JC's also blitzed Veit twice, his only defeats. Veit stopped Brahmer recently, who was supposed to be the next big thing.
As a Kessler fan you really don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to opposition ,so don't go there.
Siaca is hugely underrated. He has never lost a single fight outside of World championship fights. He was cheated out of a win against Mitchell (first stopped prematurely when Siaca was clearly ahead and winning, and then Mitchell got a very controversial SD) and then Siaca won a clear victory over Girard in France, but was once again cheated. Girard was forced by the WBA to give Siaca a rematch, but decided to drop the belt rather than face Siaca again
I know what you are getting at but Calzaghe has fought and beaten some good fighters in recent years like Veit, Mitchell and Brewer who were all World Champions or former World champions as well the other three I mentioned ableit at a later date.
Kessler does not have the same standard of fighters in his resume however for me Kessler and Calzaghe are the two stars of the Super Middleweight division, hopefully they should get it on although with Calzaghe's injuries and age, I am not hopefull!
I hope too they will fight each other, but i don`t believe it,Calzaghe will retire undefeated,so he will not fight Kessler
I think Calzaghe is a very good boxer with pretty good power and above average speed, and he is a champion. Can he step it up against others in his weight class... only time will tell...I dont think he should go up in wight however...he cant bang like that, nor can he take the power of the fighters above him...
Only thing you guy can come up with are my grammatical errors or Fuck off, kessler cocksucker,Kessler nuthugger.instead should you defend you man,but you can`t,because we all now Calzaghe never take a fight he can't win,he only pick slowish and technically limited fighters
Do yourself a favour, go to Boxrec and actually look who Calzaghe has fought, because when you make a statement about Joe only fighting slowish and technically limited fighters you make yourself sound like a fool.
Brahmer beat up some guys. I believe there was more, but not sure what it was.
I heard he had a reputation as a bit of a badass, so I'm not really surprised.
What about
Manny Siaca (former WBA-Champ)
Julio Cesar Green who only has lost to world-class fighter like Byron Mitchell,William Joppy
