uppercut snaps your head back rattlin your brains. yes it does but hit someone on top of the head that is below you will almost always cause at least a knockdown which gives you at least a 10-8 round barring that they come back and rock you the rest of the way

still i say overhand right is an effective ko if used correctly especially when opponents head is below your shoulders or lower there body follows the trajectory of the blow

Hook is the most powerful, if you know how to throw a hook using your upperbody weight at the same time you'll kno what I'm talking about... a hook wiht mere upper body is no match for a hook utilizing the legs hips and pivoting of the foot anything else is an arm punch

The uppercut is tougher to get off on an opponent which is why uppercut ko's don't happen as much, but I'm pretty sure that its more powerful.

Asian is correct. I can't remember the source but someone did some research and found the left hook to be responsible for the most knockouts in boxing history.

the uppercut is a powerful punch but the left hook is THE ko punch. its harder to see coming or block than the uppercut and it can land on the jaw in just the right way to put a guy to sleep.

it would be smart to look at the most powerful fighters of all time and see what they say Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, George Foreman type guys And it becomes clear the uppercut by far Lewis slowed Tyson with the uppercut and turned the fight in his favor in the first round. He hurt Holyfield with it, finished Grant with it. Tyson, we all know how bad that uppercut is. Foreman's uppercut lifted Frazier off the canvas. Definitely the uppercut. Even today, look at Pacquiao's uppercut which he never uses. He sent 3K Battery Fahsan FLYING with it. Uppercut, no contest. Unless of course you're an Eastern European fighter, lol. No your wrong the uppercut is not that strong and it only works against short fighters like the examples you gave. if anybody thinks that the cross isnt the strongest punch theyre either a converted fighter or theyre not throwing it properly

I'd say its between the straight and the hook.

i say hook. cause u can always block an uppercut but i hook is alot harder
