Jesus give him time, he cant fight every week. He has already beat up alot of good fighters, and hes got pleanty of time to beat up the rest. I hope he fights Hatton soon so all the Britts on the Hatton bandwagon can see just how far away Hatton is. Hatton would be nothing more than a punching bag for Floyd. Floyd is as close to an unbeatable fighter as we have in the sport right now.
He's already HOF material. You can't be serious.
even if he beats delahoya so what? he waited to long to finally move up in weight, floyd waited til everybody in that division got old or took a few loses... in my opinion, floyd needs to fight Cotto, shane, delahoya, margarito, and every other tough fight available if he doesn't then he wont get remembered for anything. Floyd is just another Roy jones to me ... both roy and jones havent fought the best, they moved up in weight too late... and they are always ducking people ... shane and delahoya has never ducked anyone and thats why they have loses . They best lose, because they want to tbe best

Both Roy and Floyd already have plenty of good names on their ledger. In each case of supposed 'ducking' in Roy's career, you can make a good argument that he did not duck. The people that say this the most are often the type who just watch Roy to watch him lose.
Roy fought McCallum, Hill, Tarver, Johnson, Ruiz, Woods, Paz, Castro, Toney, Hopkins, Harding, Reggie Johnson, etc,
Floyd so far has Chavez, Castillo, Carlos & Genero Hernandez, Judah, Corrales, Augustus, Corley, Manfredy...a good solid record.
But yes, both have had periods of stagnancy. That doesn't mean they won't make it up or that they didn't. Nor does it mean they ducked anyone.
Floyd has already showed plenty of vulnerability vs Castillo, although he may have been injured in the 1st fight.
Floyd might let his ego get the best of him, and decide to drop muscle like Roy did and that could cost him in the long term. Your body never recovers from that, and it's especially worse when you're old. Floyd could be 154 lbs champ and try to drop to 140 and get his ass waxed by some young buck.
But it's possible that Floyd will go undefeated...just depends on who he fights, and his age.
I think that Mayweather has faught the best that were willing in each weightclass he's been in, but for people to stop talking s#$t he need to keep it up. IMHO i know that it's very rare that someone can retire undefeated, but I think that Mayweather has a real shot at it.

Self Ownage. :lol1:
My assumption is that if he takes on all viable challengers, there is no way for him to stay undefeated - because eventually someone will catch him with a lucky punch, or he'll grow old overnight, or something along those lines.
Basically, no man is invincible, and if he meets all his challenges, he WILL be defeated.
man, floyd gets no credit for going toe to toe with Ndou and taking him apart. That was a brilliant fight.
it really was an awesome fight. those straight rights to end the fight were amazing.
Undefeated only means something when you've fought the best.
Floyd did at the lower weights, but he's yet to prove himself in the welter range.
I love watching him, but if he retires undefeated, i'll be sorely dissapointed, because it would mean that he's not faced all the challenges he should've.
Unless he gets injured. Then it's fair enough.
so if he fights dlh, cotto, hatton and tony and beats them all and retires he hasnt fought the best?
i dont follow that logic.

this makes no sense....if he retired today...yeah maybe your argument holds some water....but if he goes out fights guys like DLH, Hatton etc...and wins all his fights....gets to say 45-0 or around there and retires....are you really saying you would not be impressed??....come on....he is already a title holder in what 4 weight classes?...come on this guys career is impressive if he retired today

If he continues to fight guys like Sosa, N'dou, Corley, Bruseles, Gatti, Mitchell and Judah, he for sure can retire unbeaten, and hopefully it is very soon.
right, judah isnt a world champion???
what about guys like hernandez, chaves, corrales and castillo?
Whats the point of retiring undefeated? Undefeated fighters are probaly fakes anyway. Mayweather already droped the ball against Zab. That was a close fight. Real close.
Floyd won twice as many rounds as Zab and theres a good chance he would have stopped him on won the remaining rounds had zab not low blowed and then rabbit punched him to get a 15 minute break.
undefeated fighters are fakes???
are you serious??
as talented as he is, he will lose. this is the boxing age of politics, robberies, promoters, and fixed fights.
as good as he is, there is no way even he can dodge all the bullshit of boxing today.
