Old School fighter never dreamed of million dollar paydays and network fighters, they fought for survival and pride. Today's fighters, for the most part...not all...but for the most part, have no sense of what it's really like to be a champion. They're in it to get rich, not carve their names in history alongside the greats...not legitimately anyway. And that's why they don't get the same level of respect as a Robinson or a Louis or an Ali or a Greb, etc., etc.

I refuse to recognize paper belts and if the keepers of the record books had any balls, they wouldn't either. People just don't unify like they used to. I rememember in 04 we only had two undisputed champions, Hopkins and Spinks. Now we have even less. Which is why I don't give Mayweather any championship credit north of 135.

Well, technically he's already a 6 weight champ since he "beat" Felix Sturm for the WBOgus title. Super Middle would make 7, but I don't think DLH could even handle Marcus Beyer. Definitely not Calzaghe or Kessler.
