How many of here play Fight Night Round 3 by EA Sports?
If you play it, and if you are currently in career mode, tell us what your record is.
Also, tell us if you like the game or not.
fight night round 3 fucking sux.
round 2 is the best boxing game ever.
in round 3, its too damn easy to lose stamina, you cant get out of widescreen mode, the lineup of fighters is horrid, the create a boxer options are far more limited, its too easy for fighters to get cut, they have this really lame and stupid bone crunching sound when some1 gets KDd in slow motion, the fighters are too slow, there are no more records (i.e. fastest KO, most money, HOF), the AI (no matter what difficulty) is such a pushover, the KDs are lame, the "one-punch stun" thing is totally pointless and too slow, and of course, the ratings are flawed.
round 2 is vastly superior to round 3 in almost every way.
The Game Is Way To Easy
Unless U Play Online There Is No Challenge
Also If U Lose A Fight The Game Doesnt Even Achknowledge It
Gameplay Is Better This Time Around Thou
But No Ranking System, That Was Featured On Round 2 Where Cool
Also On Round 1 You Can Check Out Everybody Last 5 Oppenents
Little Details Like That Would Have Made Round 3 Better
Great game, but awful in one aspect.
Terrible, terrible choices of real life fighters available:
Viscente Escobedo instead of Floyd Mayweather? (Hello!! The P4P best in boxing isn't in this game?!?)
Calvin Brock instead of Sam Peter?
Jesus Chavez instead Jose Luis Castillo?
No Shane Mosley, Felix Trinidad, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, George Foreman etc. etc.?....names that gamers and casual boxing fans can actually recognize?
What the hell was EA Sports thinking?!?!?
Good point!Some guys I would like to see in it-George Foreman,Mike Tyson,Lennox Lewis,Joe Louis,Tommy Hearns,Julio Cesar Chavez,Larry Holmes,and many more!
in career mode i was 41-0 41 kos and retired and am now 6-0 6kos, also i play online (PS2) and wanna fight and beat any of you who also play online my SN xLastNamex
I've been playing it a lot lately.I like it as much as the other ones.I can't say which one is my favorite. They are all good!I created a Japanese heavyweight named Ryu Suyaki(Original, huh :D ).My record is currently 34-0-0-34KO I beleive.Although it is starting to get harder.I've been knocked down twice recently.

Im waiting a little longer for round 3, maybe till the price hits 35 dollars. Im cheap I know...In round 1 I was somethign like 50-3. Round 2 I was I think 60-1 with Cotto, I lost my last match before I retired when I had like 50% of everything. Man I used to make a lot of money off of that game. So many people think they are great cuz they can get Marciano and jus throw nonstop haymakers. I shut em up quick. Matter fact all those people said that round 3 sucked cuz they took out the haymaker or something. Myself, I liked the idea and think its more realistic and more of a challenge.
I bought it the day it came out for $40.00.
try again
i had it on ps2. i traded it for devil may cry 3 tho... my record was like 54 - 0 w/ 51 KO on hard. too easy.

I've played a few careers in a few weight classes. I've used create a fighter to make Foreman, Mayweather, Margarito, and the like too.
It did get too easy. Even on hard mode I was always whipping through opponents in four rounds or less.
Interesting note, a little flaw in the game. I made a fighter and just for fun fought every fight rope-a-dope, like that was his style, waved my opponents in, backed myself into the coner, and fought from there. Well, if you do this, some fighters- but not many (like Calvin Brock) will hit you once or twice and then back off and throw punches that dont hit. It is very funny. They will punch themselves out. You can just hang out and block while they punch air and steal the round in the last few seconds. By the third round they'll be exhausted.
in round 2 i fought a career with a heavyweight where i just took the fight that was coming up the soonest for my whole career. i fought until my guy was 52 years old and he was fat as shit. my record was 114-2 at the time i retired, im not sure it is possible to win much more than that.

i have round 3 for my xbox360. thats right 360. i bought it for 400 off ebay.
And i love it. Its the only videogame that i can actually play for more then a half hour straight. Normally video games are just something i do with one of my buddies while we wait for others to arrive, but i actually play this one on my free time.
I skip work and shit... woo.
And my record online is 61-31 with a lot of KO's. And online is hot so fight night u should get it.
It must be AMAZING on the 360. I can only imagine how much better it must be playing on the new 360. When PS3 comes out, I will most likely get both the console and PS3 online. So we can start a Fight Night Round 4 online league for all the members here at boxingscene.com. That would be pretty cool. :boxing:
