Hopkins lost both his last fights because he didn't do enough. Hopfully (pun intended, as bad as it was) he will learn from the mistake, come out with guns blazing and head high on June 10th, throw a picture perfect counter right, and knock Tarver the FUCK OUT. Because everybody hates Tarver.

I think Carrales Castillo 3 will win FIGHT OF THE YEAR without a doubt if the fight lasts past round 8. Im almost sure of it. Also, De La Hoya has another fight comin up later in the year, possibly against PBF. that could be fight of the year also. And since Hopkins is fighting to make BIG history, he might fight like he did in his prime and attack tarver non-stop. If hopkins is determined enough, we might see fight of they year on june 10th.

Right Now its Mac vs Bell. I bet Miranda v Abraham will be intense.

Cotto-Castillo I

Mormeck/Bell is my front-runner right now. I think Morales/Pacquiao III is going to be a barn burner if it goes through. Morales will go out on his shield for sure and will make sure that "every great champion has one great performance left" thing ring true. I don't think he can take out Pacquiao at this point, but it'll be dramatic and exciting nonetheless. woot almost forgot about this .... PAC-EM 3 maybe a combination of 1 & 2 ... :boxing: :boxing:

Almost half the year is over, any predictons on what fight or upcoming fights may be fight of the year??? This coming month will probably have some good contenders. Besides the obvious main attractions like Tarver / Hop , Castillo / Corrales , Winky / Stewart , Vargas / Mosely , and so on... The one fight I'm intrested in seeing is the return of both Vernon Forrest and Ike Quartey. Both guys kinda forgetten ex-champions who people came to watch whether they liked them or not. Also Roy Jones Jr , just to see if he gets KTFO by the first flush shot.

well said.........that was one top fight man!...oh but sorry again, they are not yanks or mexicans...so it can't be their fight! I know but there isnt much of a coverage. if it was on ESPN or Warrior tv then it for sure convice them in this forum. Mashouip vs Sith. is amazing punching nonstope. as for the runner up it would be Cintron vs Estrada

I've found that the Fight of the Year candidates often come from unexpected places. Who saw Arce-Hussein I coming last year (which I would rank #2 of the year...) yes but everyone who knows anything about boxing predicted Castillo-Corrales I to be a fight for the ages long before that was even signed
