correct me if i am wrong guys? there is no such thing as an undefeated Filipino World Champion ... I don't mind rey challenging this early for a world crown, a setback this early in his career even a KTFO loss, IMHO will be more of a lesson that need to be learned the hardway and will make him a better figther tomorrow ...

Right, I know you've been wanting him to lose all this time :rolleyes: Hater :D i'm no hater, i don't hate. just a simple boxing fan who enjoys a good fight with beer in hand. i actually like Bautista, i think he has the goods and with a li'l more tinkering here and there, he'll only get better as he gets the tougher fights along the way. his well-balanced sprinter's stance reminds me of Tito Trinidad, if Rey could only add that side to side head/body movement.

You need to stop wishing death on Boom2x. He may be young but he's not stupid. He's only 19 years old and he knows his limitations. Bautista is a next generation fight, he will not be fighting the top dawgs today(or at least in their primes). Maybe a megafight with Abner Mares in four years, but definitely not a Rafa, Jhonny or Vazquez. my point exactly. :cool:

I thought Boom Boom moved up to 122 lbs. The WBO champ there is also a dangerous puncher in Daniel Ponce De Leon. I don't think hes ready for this kind of match up yet he'll get KO'd

Why is he fighting at 122-lbs? I would've love to see him fight some top-ranked contenders at 118 this year Mauricio Martinez, Cruz Carbajal, or former champ Mauricio Pastrana. Isn't he being groomed to challenge Rafa and Jhonny by the end of 2007? :confused: What happened? maybe he could not catch the weight..
