Hatton's alright to watch. I think he's unfairly been labeled a wrestler. He looked good in his last fight against Malignaggi and the only one who made that fight ugly was Paulie. He didn't even hold that much against Mayweather, actually Mayweather was the one doing most of the holding with his move, punch, hold tactics. Ring generalship is controlling the fight whether it's using defense or offense & I thought Collazo demonstrated both. It was a close fight but Collazo should've gotten the win. Yes he backed pedaled for most of the fight but countered very well & hurt Hatton several times. Hatton didn't do enough in my book to take the championship. He was visably discouraged throughout most of the fight & was almost stopped in the 12th. Great post! Collazo was the better fighter last night.... period.

I thought collazo won by atleast 2 pt's, and wonder now about Hattons chin (and think maybe he does too) I hate the lean, smother, shoulder, elbow, clinch and all around bully style that hatton depends on, and I'm starting to think he fights that way cause he doubts his ability to take a good punch. Collazo had him hurt a few different times, and even though it's smart to hold on, if he hadnt done so he would have been out. It was a terrible job of officiating by the ref. and seriously effected the outcome of the fight. Hatton should have had one or two pt's deducted for fouls and getting away with holding collazo and pulling down on the back of his neck while throwing an uppercut AT THE SAME TIME was low down and dirty as hell. The ref chose to repeat the same warnings instead of actually doing something about it which was a big benefit to hatton. I dont know why some ref's bother to show up for work, when they refuse to take control of their ring. thats why they call him little ruiz LOL

i like how in the wlad v. byrd fight nobody had a problem with wlad stategically clinching, but if hatton does it he is a dirty fighter and a bum. hatton hating is way out of control in here. I aint hating! Im a big fan (even been to see him 4 times too).... I think Hatton more than makes up for the clinching that he does! Its not like he does a Henry Anaconda! He does a bit of punching in there too!!!

Something he has done in all his fights, but was unable to do against Collazo for some reason. Now lest list the good about collazo: -Great speed -very effective from the outside -can fight his opponents fight and get away with it -solid footwork -promoted by don king -and... he looks good fighting in the ring thats it. Hatton had a bad fight. He jumped up 7 pounds and struggled. He wasnt ready. He never proteced his face ONCE during that fight, and got a beating for it. You can NEVER call a great fighter like hatton a disgrace to british boxing. he is STILL the king of the junior welterweight division. i see him beating EVERY single light weight and junior welterweight currently fighting.
