Floyd Sr. said he doesn't want Oscar to fight Floyd Jr., instead to fight Ricky Hatton.
So, it looks like little Floyd is out, unless Oscar leaves
Floyd Sr., which I am not so sure he will do.
why dont you watch the fight tonight and see that hattons style is fun to watch, he doesnt run away, ever and he is always applying pressure. that is why he has fans, simply because he is fun to watch. so, watch tonight and then maybe you can stop being a hatton hater/ floyd jock swinger, playa
IMO, hatton is the most entertaining and exciting fighter thats fighting right now. Obviously, who u prefer to watch is strictly opinion, But Hattons ability to apply HUGE amounts of pressure and make exciting things happen right from bell 1, is what makes him so awsome.
If u have never watched him fight, watch tonight and ull be amazed. I dont think ive ever seen a style or a fighter like him. He is unique and amazing.
Yea I dont blame him....I would hate for that boy..Pretty Boy.. to mess up his fathers rep...I actually want that to happen also....Hatton and his cult needs to be shut up....real soon..

DLH has said many times that he wants Mayweather SR in his corner for his last fight. Since hes only got 1 o 2 fights in him, he may never fight PBF, which is upsetting. i would love to see that fight.

I garuntee Oscar will fight Floyd with Mayweather Sr. in his corner. This is all just part of a big scheme to build up this "mega fight" even more.
I think this fight is gonna happen too.
the fact is, no one would pay for hatton vs. de la hoya except true boxing fans and hatton would get smashed anyway...hardly anyone has heard of hatton...everyone wants PBF vs DLH and that is what they are going to get..its the only fight that has the potential to top 1million ppv buys and be a mega fight in its own manner...i watched a recent floyd mayweather jr. interview from the post fight reception at the delahoya vs. mayorga fight and he said he doesnt care if his father trains de la hoya..and his father was quoted as saying he would not train de la hoya to fight against his son..so we will see what happens but this fight its practically set in stone..plus the fact that each fighter will get like 20 million or some ridiculous amount of money.
My Big Question...
'cause it doesnt seem like anyone else is asking this, what weight will the De La Hoya/Mayweather fight be in? Now I'm almost positive that Oscar is not gonna drop to welterweight, and although Pretty Boy Floyd Dismanteled Zab Judah, he still seemed(at least to me) to be the smaller man in that fight, and any weight above welterweight i think will be a disadvantage for Mayweather. now I'm impressed with the undeniable skill of both fighter but i think weight is gonna play a major part on how this fight plays out. As for if the fight is gonna happen or not, if both fighters are determened to make this historical event, then it will happen. No One, not even Floyd Mayweather Sr. can get in the way of history. :boxing:
If PBF had fought a higher level of opponents the last 3 years he would have been far away the #1 challenger to DLH. But he didn't and is now begging for DLH to notice him. DLH has so many great options for his last fight.
I'd like to see him go out with a revenge win over Tito, which will attract way more PPV buys than PBF who only got 350,000 buys for the Judah fight. Cripes, the meaningless Mosley-Vargas fight did way better than that and PBF-Judah was promoted like it was an Ali-Frazier calibre fight of the year. Too bad for PBF but he is not at the elite level for PPV, and his sequence of mediocre opponents was his own choosing. If he doesn't get lucky with a DLH payday, he can look in the mirror for the reason why.
no it doesnt. would you rather watch floyd run away from oscar all night or watch him try to run from hatton all night? personally i would like to see either one of these fights since imo they both will end with a great big L for floyd.
I personally would rather see Hatton and PBF. But I dont think he would be running. PBF is a smart fighter and he's not going to take shots just to be taking shots and I can't say that I blame him. He will combo punch your body until you have no more punch left and that's when he goes to work. It will be an intersting fight against Hatton and I probably won't put any money on it. That fight could go either way.
Oscar doesn't need to fight Floyd imo. If he is to fight on, I'd like to see Oscar-Trinidad 2 or Oscar-Mosley 3 just as much. He's got business with them.
JR needs to hae a heart to heart with SR. Explain that A) Oscar won't knock him out no matter what SR tellls him and B) that this is a way for both of them to become filthy rich. If that fails, maybe he should start talking shit about his father till he is angry enough to train Oscar for th fight
Well that sucks..
