I am not trying to over hype a prime George Foreman, but seriously: could he manage to beat all four heavyweight champs of today, Klitschko, Rahman, Liakhovich and Valuev, in one night, one after another? I tend to think he would/could.
as bad as the HW division is, and as hard as george hit, no, he couldnt beat all four champions in one night.
honestly, i dont think anybody can beat all four champions in one night.
thats just stupid.
I think a prepared Klitschko would give George the most trouble out of those fighters, at least until George catches WK with one of those brutal jabs that he hurt a young evander holyfield with(tyson couldn't daze an old holyfield with power shots)
Yeah that was a hard ass jab, but he didn't have it to that extent in his prime.
C'mon, let's stop the insanity here. George was a big puncher; but he ain't no god, C'MON!!
Who are the champs: Wladimir Klitschko
Sergei Liakovich
Hasim Rahman
Nicolay Valuev
There is NO WAY IN HELL Foreman knocks 'em all out in the same night. NO WAY!!!
Klitchko hung in with Sam Peter for 12 rounds.
Liakhovich took a beating from Brewster in the 5th and still came back. DID YOU SEE THOSE PUNCHES HE TOOK FLUSH?!!
Valueve is HUGE...FREAKIN HUGE; a 300 Lb man is not invincible by any means; but we're talking after George has kayoed Rahman, wrestled with Klitschko, and pounded on Likhovich's iron jaw.
4 men in one night. George couldn't even stop 4 journey men of 5 in the same night in his prime, and some of y'all think he's gonna stop 4 world rated fighters. Right.
Please, wake up and smell the napalm. Please!
Let me start by saying that I'm a huge Foreman fan. I agree, George was a large, very strong fighter in his era, but when he was in shape, he weighed about as much as Holyfield which is an average/borderline small heavyweight. I also don't see anyone mentioning that he had trouble stopping smaller fighters in his prime, even though he probably gave them brain damage. Another point is that Lyle had him in terrible trouble in their fight, and Lyle weighs what, 210? I would still give him the strength edge over Brewster and Liakovich, but both of them have more skills overall. Wlad I would say is physically just as strong as Foreman, and I'd probably give Wlad the edge in strength, and overall boxing ability for that matter. Valuev would simply be too large for Foreman to muscle around. IMO it goes like this: Foreman KO's or TKO's Brewster, either TKO's Liakovich or fights him to a draw, Loses to Wlad simply because Lyle almost KO'd him and Wlad hits much harder and has the reach, and He takes Valuev on a decision. Never, never would any of this happen in one night though.
Edit: I forgot Rahman's a champ lol
Doesn't matter, Foreman would probably have the easiest time with Rahman anyway, he wouldn't use his strength enough and allow Foreman to barge in and back him up until finally one of those haymaker bombs landed and wither KO'd him or caused the ref to stop it.

Forget all in one night. All at the same time.
No, but in all seriousness, yes, Foreman woulda knocked all them out within 3 rounds.
Wlad has a glass jaw, and Foreman has a goddamned heavy ass punch.
yes. Foreman will KO Wlad in 1 punch in 1 Round and then the rest should flow as planned. Valuev will get his ass whooped. Rahamn will fold easy. Then that Russian guy is a unknown unknown that Foreman will figure easy.

No, no he could not.
I dont know why I kept on laughing when I saw this thread!!! This is funny you know why? Cause during the time of George he was really a beast and its very much possible!!! Imagine that.....hahahahaha....GEORGE shouting in the middle of the ring "LINE THEM UP, LINE THEM UP" :D
Then we should add James Toney to the list, only to see his reaction. LMAO

Valuev would be the easiest I think. I don't think Valuev can take a punch like Foreman's.
I disargee that Sergei would have a chance with going all the way with George. The only reason he made it with Brewster was because brewster takes breaks, kinda lazy in there where as with foreman, he would never let up in his early days. I think Valuev would be his toughest test, only because the guy is a giant with a pretty good chin.
The thing about Forman is that despite him being reletively medium sized by todays standards, his cumulative punch power was superb. Not one punch knockouts but a build up of battering. Ali and Frazier made him look slow and lumbering (and he was) but in his prime he still moved faster than any of our current champions. Their size advantage is nullified by their lack of speed. Only Klitschko has working, offensive tools (basically his jab) but he doesn't move a whole lot. Lyakovich might land a couple of punches that would stun Foreman but George got knocked down on a few occasions and still got up. Valuev would not be able to keep George off and Rahman would be down in 2 rounds.
All four in one night?
With Klitschko first, then Lyakovich? Could be done. He would be sharp for Klitschko, take some jabs but would connect. He might slow for the next bout but the final two would be a cake walk for him. Just a case of finding the chins.
Possible. Not probable but possible.
For those who accuse fans of viewing past fighters with rose colored spectacles, try actually watching some of the prime heavyweight fights of the past. They can be seen on ESPN classic (and sometimes on HBO) and you'll see heavyweights with footwork, MOVING, using technique. Doesn't mean they'd beat today's leviathons in every case, but some definitely would.

I think he could still beat all of them or atleast all of them minus Klit he is the most experienced and has some skill. He would give old big george some issues but I still think George would win, especially if he hits Klit square on the chin. and no not in one night give him a few and that would do it
Guys, Foreman was a great HW in his time, but remember that it was his size, strength and power that won him most of his fights. He'd be an average to small HW today, and totally beatable by a fighter with a strong left jab. Holmes would've beat Foreman easily if he hadn't retired after the loss to Young, IMHO.
Foreman matched up beautifully with a small come-forward fighter like Frazier, but the larger HW's of today would give him all kinds of trouble with the wide way he threw punches and how easy he was to hit. That's my opinion. I think you guys are off your rocker to take it for granted that he'd just run through the current HW's. No way.

maybe he could do all 4 in one night i dont think any would give him trouble, valuev is stronger but he never used his stregth and he has no power in his punches
i know some young people are gonna say we are hyping foreman up but the truth is he is not the only guy in history who could do that, the heavyweight division is not what it used to be
No, absolutely not. The heavyweight division is bad, but I actually think some people blow it out of proportion a bit. To say he could beat all four of the current champs in one night is definately a case where the downfalls of todays heavyweights are being blown out of proportion. It is like when the average Joe off the street claims he could beat Ruiz or Byrd in a street fight. The heavyweights are bad, but they are not THAT bad.
