Mayorga Doped for the ODLH fight

There is no mix up VanesBoxing it was on ESPN, just turn to ESPN and then read the bottom of the screen. The most recent info is there before they put it on websites and stuff, they'll probably talk about it on SPORTSCENTER!

If he took a diuretic, it was for weight loss purposes, to be able to make the weight. That shit takes a lot of your energy away from you. THAT is why it is illegal. It's NOT performance ENHANCING, quite the contrary. This means that Mayorga probably would have been a lot better without it (only he couldn't have made the weight, of course). Thanks playa for getting it straight. I guess those days of Mayo eating fried chicken at the weigh in is over. That dude is supposed to be one of the best fittness guy in the sport...I wonder what happened..

i really think there is a mix up here or a mis understanding. No one can find anything official on Mayorga doping, but there is info on Rosendo Alvarez having failed this same diautric test.

After this latest fiasco, its really hard to imagine Mayorga making another run as a top fighter. Its very difficult to revuild after the strong of dissapointments, culminating in a positive post fight drug test.

he fought like he smoked dope before the fight...... my initial thoughts exactly as the fight started. Mayorga looked like "uhhh ummm, where am I, uhhh, whats goin on" the whole fight. Everytime DLH put him to his knees, he would look up at the ref and DLH with a face like "uhhh, this sucks, ummm im down again" but a link on the doping stuff would be nice.

Coffee is a diuretic, as is alcohol. Neither is as effective as whatever Mayorga used, of course.

A diuretic increaes urine discharge. You would take it, if you were a fighter, in order to make weight. If you guys are thinking it's like a steroid....lmao.
