"FF: You think Floyd is going to stay at 147?
AE: Only way he stays up there is if he keeps fighting guys with no chin. (Laughs) Then again, he may stay up there. His speed works for him and he can still hit and not get hit. But again that depends on who he fights.
I want him back down at 140 so I can get a crack at him. Maybe it’s kind of arrogant for me to talk like that after some of my last fights, but come on man right now I’m the only one to date who’s really done some damage to him. I need to earn the right to fight him and I haven’t been doing that. Until I can get through a bunch of these smaller fights, it’s going to be tough.
Mayweather and Ricky Hatton are both two fights I really wanted, and both of them are up at 147 now. I’m not going to chase them. If I could make 140, that would be one thing, but I’m not going to go up there after them."
If Gatti gets by Baldomir, I think an Augustus Gatti fight in AC would be HUGE in terms of excitment.
They both had epic fights with Ward, why not fight eachother?
I hope he gets a few big fights in over the next couple years. He deserves the payday.

aaaa. take that pic out of signature. lol... wierd...
ANd i would also LOVE another Augustus Mayweather fight. Augustus would put up a hell of a fight, i no that for sure. And as unlikely as it would be for Emauel to win, the purpose of a rematch for him would be for him to prove himself as a fighter.
And I would NOT want to see Augustus Hatton because those are my 2 favorite fighters and it would deeply upset me if either of them lost.
i definitely would love an augustus vs hatton/mayweather fight. with as many fights as emanuel has and all of those short notice, robberies, etc he's been through i wonder if he can even get motivated for the average fighters.
thats awsome. hes pretty cocky and dont see him ever fighting mayweather again (although he gave mayweather one of his toughest fights. definetly his toughest 10 round fight)
And wasnt he supposed to fight Hatton this saturday, but because Collazo had the belt hatton went after him instead. thats a fight i COULD see happening if Hatton didnt already have a 3 fight deal with HBO. Maybe afterward though, but kinda unlikely
