37-0 i think is the most wins without a loss if i'm not mistaking.
Marciano was 49-0 and JC Chavez was at some crazy high impossible number that Floyd will never reach.
If you don't like a fighter that's fine, but to hold him to a different standard is crazy. Your criticizing PBF but not Hatton, this makes no sense when PBF has faced the tougher opponents and more importantly Hatton could of fought Mayweather if he was "ready" but not until 2007 now. I guess that's PBF fault? Hatton should of had more fights againsts cotto, margorito, baldomir, even the judah that fought Floyd. If you say why wouldn't PBF you should ask Hatton he's the one with lesser opposition. And as soon as PBF beat baldomir or cotto you haters would fingd a way to maginalize the victory cus cotto's up and coming etc.
This is an ignorant post.
Um, you see, Hatton won the undisputed championship at 140 a year ago. He's only moving to 147 because Floyd ran out of the division and wouldn't go to the UK to fight the champ- so he's coming here, and since the numbers worked for a fight in the UK, but don't in the US (yet) he's getting a fight on HBO under his belt, a fight at 147, and then maybe Floyd will fight him. Floyd wasn't willing to go to the UK to fight the champ, so the champ has to chase him down here, and Hatton is doing what is necessary to make the fight happen.
Floyd had an opportunity in his last fight, to fight the champ or the guy the champ just beat. He chose to fight the loser, got knocked down, won by 3 points, and still hasn't fought for a true championship or fought the best fighter available to him in 4 years.
Margarito and Arum have begged Floyd to make that fight and have offered him insane money for that fight... but he's not interested. He's waiting for another guy to lose, I guess, hoping Hatton or Margarito lose, or waiting to try the DLH Lottery.
Who knows? All we know is that he doesn't fight the best, but calls himself the best. He calls himself a champion but is not one.
All of you who say I'm wrong- answer this....
Is Floyd a champ? Did he have an opportunity to be a champ and opt to fight a loser?
Has Floyd fought the best in the past 4 years?
Thanks! :)
DLH has been married for a while, and has been kicking ass for a while. Wat you just said made no damn sense. If Oscar sets his mind to it, he can beat anyone at 154 or below.
There is no way DLH can beat Mayweather.. I am sorry to say. DLH is too old and he is married which takes away alot of his strength. If DLH looses he will retire.. DLH just got lucky with Mayorga (who isnt even a good fighter) because mayorga pissed him off. Other fighters won't piss him off so he wont really want to fight..
By the way, your hate has clouded your mind. DLH was never knocked down by Chavez. He touched the canvas against Hernandez after LANDING A PUNCH ON HERNANDEZ that may have BROKEN HIS FUCKING HAND.
DLH never fought Jesus Chavez, jackass. As far as Floyd being knockdown, it was aganst Famoso Hernandez and if you knew how to read you'd see that has already been cleared up.
Now back on ignore with ya.
Whay is it, all the people on this board thinks Castillo won the fight, is either Mexican, hater or Hatton fans.
so true. I've never seen an unbiased poster suggest Castillo won
Floyd Mayweather is not a God. He lost to Jose Luis Castillo alread at 135 lbs, so he can damn sure lose to a much bigger man in Oscar De La Hoya at 154 lbs.
A guy who is knocked down at 130 by Jesus Chavez and is given all he can handle by Vic Sosa can be beaten by DLH.
don't ask this crybaby. He's just mad that Mayweather > Roy and Floyd isn't even 30 years old yet! LOL!!!!
By the way, your hate has clouded your mind. DLH was never knocked down by Chavez. He touched the canvas against Hernandez after LANDING A PUNCH ON HERNANDEZ that may have BROKEN HIS FUCKING HAND. Furthermore, all three scorecards in the Sosa fight had Mayweather winning at least 10 rounds. Sosa sure gave it to him, didn't he? You're a biased piece of shit, and Roy Jones is a never was.

Yes, he clearly lost to Castillo. Nearly everyone on this board thinks he did except the 4-5 Floyd worshipers (GUnstar, PBF34, etc).
And he'll lose again, but only if he fights the best fighters out there- something he hasn't done since 2002, four years ago. He's skipped over the best fighters and picked and choosed the ones he thinks he can beat. That's why he went after Gatti, and Mitchell and Judah coming off of major losses. When he starts fighting WINNING fighters, then maybe we'll see. But yeah, any fighter can go unbeaten tip-toeing around the best and picking the guys he thinks he can beat. He's not a championship fighter right now, he's a showcase fighter.
Let's see him fight Margarito, Cotto, Hatton, Baldomir, etc and go unbeaten. If he does that (instead of fighting the guys those fighters just beat), then I'll be as impressed with him as everyone else seems to be.

** You're more than mistaken. You're completely untutored, so you should make a fine fit for the teenyboppers who blog this board.
Anybody can lose in any sport so it's possible I think anybody who watches the sport knows PBF has the best chance to leave a ALI, SRR, SRL affect as far as legacy, unless they are just being crazy but nobody is invinceable but he has a good shot. And you know how fighters get old at some point so if he fight's too long then that's another possibility. He's good for the sport especially wit Oscar on his way out. You watch him to hate him or to root for him! And it appears that he's maturing which would also further his legacy.
Floyd will not 'kick his ass' unless he brings the U.S. and German air force combined. He might win, but it won't be an ass-kicking.
Thanks for the correction, I do believe it was Famoso, not Chavez.
And Gunstar, I'm tired of taking you off of ignore to see your ignorant comments. Shut your sniveling ass up with your lame ass comments. I know I know, everyone who disagrees with the press is a hater, but no way are the press on the Floyd's nuts!
Everyone thinks illogically except those who say Floyd won the first fight. You got it.
And there's nothing to 'get over'. We are stating opinions that are relevant to the thread question of why Mayweather can lose. This is very basic. Please keep up and be respectful, if you can.
Moving on.
castillo won the first fight with mayweather...
fuck what anybody says ...
2nd fight mayweather won...
Bingo.
Furthermore, the question in the thread is: 'Will Floyd ever lose?'
It's a stupid question. Floyd already has lost in most people's eyes, and even if some fringe people think Floyd won, that doesn't change the fact that BOTH fights with Castillo were very close. Floyd is obvously beatable, but the title of this thread implies that somehow Floyd is unbeatable.
He is not a God and certainly DLH CAN beat him. It's a fucking no-brainer.
Uh no. Most boxing fans know Castillo deserved the nod, and it's not because all of them are 'haters'. That's just a weak way out of stating the obvious, which is that Floyd lost the first fight clearly. Against Chavez, Floyd's glove touched the ground, which is a knockdown.
And yes, DLH can tag Floyd. Castillo rocked him against the ropes, and he was been tagged and rocked by Corley.
