anybody have a video or a james toney fight or anyone who uses the shoulder roll effectivley that they can post, i really wanna incorparate this into my never ending growing fighting style
And tell me that you didnt get your ass handed to you. You were tired and your coach threw the towel. Your ass was handed to you by a towel, not a fighter. You defeated yourself being that you were not prepared. Man up!!!!

True dat man, i hope you do get the call MAY 20th at OC!
see if you can get a copy of toney vs barkley.
toney vs holyfield.
even toney vs ruiz he showed the roll and counter right hand about 30 times
Toney really gave Ruiz a boxing lesson.
James' eyes are sharp and have been for a while. This kid does not have the eyes yet for it. By him getting into shape it will help him concentrate on what he needs to see rather than thinking/concentrating on how tired he is in a fight. I told him to get into shape so that he stops getting his ass handed to him. Being able to keep your cool when your in the middle of an opponent firing at you is something that takes time to learn. Being comfortable and composed in that position is not something anybody has when they first start boxing, their a bundle of nerves. Learn your basics and getting into shape is the best thing that he could concentrate on right now.

wow man you got shit construde a little bit,, while im no where near in the shape i should and could be in, my boxing abilities are top notch and will be on disply May 20th, and also sometime next year for GOLDEN GLOVES so when you hear my name DONALD HOSKINS sometime in the near future it wont be becu i got "MY ASS HANDED TO ME" which has never happened, ive been beat on my own techniqality but thats where the boat stops homeboy! haha you still my nicc doe rockin keep da constructive critizsm coming doog!
Sound advice from Rockin' and you'd have to be a fool to ignore it. Building a fighter is like constructing a building and the first thing you need is a strong foundation. Learns the basics and of course conditioning, conditioning! These other tricks will come along gradually but it's useless to try to learn them as a novice.
Learn your basics first man and get in shape. Get those eyes sharp and tuned. If you dont have the eyes ready then the shoulder roll will not do shit for you.

Yup, cause James Toney knows all about how much getting inshape is required for a shoulder roll :D :D :D
