Did you notice that the ref that scored it 116-112 against raheem, was the same ref that scored his fight with juarez so badly that on what most people thought was an even fight, even without the point deductions Raheem still couldnt have won.
Sick and Sad.
Im a huge popo fan and was sad that he got worked by raheem from about the 5th round through the 11th, but thats not the point. I just think it looks bad for Boxing.
Check out the punch stats. Popo got out landed in every catagory. Dont tell me thats "effective aggression". Thats getting your ass handed to you in every available punch variation.
No need to apologize. The whole planet has seen Raheem to better. I was fine with teh 115-113's. Either way. But 116-112 was a bit much. That fight was awful. Ive been a fan of Popo since the Barrios fight, but he has faded down the stretch in every tough fight Ive seen him in since. This one included.

Can you clear up what you're saying here? It makes no sense.
Gattifan, Hi There!
I don't think so.
Neither one of those two fighters deserved the belt. It was a "fiasco" of a fight. As I was watching the fight I was not interested on who was winning but I wanted to know who the judges were going to give it to.
I've seen Raheem do better before.
Sorry.
