Peter vs The HW Division

Peter's been tested once against, Klitscho and he lost. I would like to see Peter beat a good opponent before I jump on this bandwagon. If he can beat a Briggs, Toney , Williams, Ruiz , Guinn, or some other top contender who will test him, then I will be impressed and ready to embrace him as a future titlelist. Peter is the new David Tua; therefore, Rahman and Liakhovich beat him like Rahman did before and Ibeabuchi did. I only use Ibeabuchi as an example because Liakhovich and Brewster was the closest thing I've seen to Ibeabuchi vs. Tua in a long while. Peter could beat Valuev but not Wlad. Basically, Peter will be in the middle of the top 10 without ever getting above that. Got to agree with the bulk of that post. Good one.

No, he isn't joking. He really thinks Rahman hits harder than Peter. Not sure how he could figure Rahman to be a harder hitter, because Peter's best punch is a looping shot, which are known for having more power than what Rahman's best tool is, a cross. Peter's most effective punch is the right cross on the back of the head.

You must be joking Peter punches much harder than Rahman and Brewster how do you know? Rahman KOed Lewis, which is the best KO you could have on the record.

Rahman can punch as hard as Peter can, but he has more technique.

I would also favor him over Brewster and Liakhovich based on superior 1 punch knockout power. Valuev's size makes such a matchup uncertain, although my sense is that Peter's power is so huge that he could even hurt Valuev. If I were a betting man I would bet on Sam Peter against the whole lot of guys you listed.

Peter can beat all of them provided he has worked on his stamina. He knocked down Wlad 3 times but just didn't have the stamina to finish him off. I like Peter and think he will be a dominant champ someday.

Jesus the guy beat a bum, how can you say he number one so prematurely? Plus he already lost to Wlad. He can beat Valuev but thats it. Get Peter vs Sultan Ibragimov or Brock. Then judge him. In all honesty Julius Long kind of sucks.

If I were handling Peter then I'd try and make a match with Lyakhovich. That's the fighter most likely to stand and trade with Sam. And any HW who does that with Peter is gift-wrapping the fight for him. Brewster would be my second choice. Peter would beat him, too, I think. The other guys all have decent to excellent jabs- Valuev, Rahman and Wlad. So it'll be harder for Peter to beat them.

After watching this fight tonight against Long, Peter would kill Toney. Absofuckinglutely murder him. If that fight happens I'll gladly bet someone all of my points. All the skill in the world is not going to save a 5'9" obese man from those sledgehammers.
