nigel benn on sky (predictions! )

Predicting Mayweather and Hatton was easy - every other boxing expert did the same. Benn admitted Roy Jones wud outclass him (interview while benn was boxing - he says after the mclellan fight that he cudnt beat RJJ)....so its pretty easy to call out Roy Jones once ur retired and promised u wont come out of retirement. Benn also hated naz and so was always gonna bad mouth him If u hear benn now - u can barely understand wat he says...his lisp and general speech has deteriorated like how holyfield's has also. I guess its wat happens after u been in as many wars as those guys.... I dont think his speech is that bad at all. He has always had a lisp, and i remember after the McClellan fight i thought he looked a liitle worse in an interview, but i saw him on a programme a while ago, and hes the same now as he was years ago. And i dont think he was calling out Roy Jones, he said he would fight him if his family let him. He always wanted to fight Jones eventhough he knew he would lose.

collins had a stupid chin, tony thornton was a powerful puncher in the 80s but broke his right hand on collins head (!) & never hit hard again after that, reggie johnson dropped james toney but collins took everthing he had, mike mccallums left hook ko'd don curry but collins just walked right through it. damn collins was as hard as nails I always thought Collins was like a lump of granite- He never looked like losing to Benn IMO. He just seemed indestructable at that time

collins took a thunderous left hook from benn & u expected him 2 fall down as any body else would of or did when benn hit them like that, but collins just took it & stayed up & winked at benn- u knew the fight was won & lost there & then

i just dug out a few old tapes from ages ago, nigel benn was in the sky sports studio to analyse hamed/mccullough & hamed/ingle, hamed/ingle card was at the men arena with tommy hearns on the card & big george & chris eubank & manny steward were all there 2 (i was in the crowd but also set my vcr to record it) anyway, at the hamed/mccullough benn says felix trinidad is his boy & he thinks trinidad is 2nd to roy jones, he predicts floyd mayweather is the future king of the ring & mentions an unknown "rich hatton" as a future star for britain ! he also lays into naz saying "forget about mccullough, if hamed fought any of the top americans he would get anihilated. mayweather, mckinney, guys like that. i reckon junior jones would beat him & that derrick gainer guy", about roy jones benn said that u need 2 find roys chin becos its never been tested & u need 2 find somebody soon before rjj retires- benn said he would come out of retirement & test roys chin if he had'nt promised his wife & kids he would never get in a ring again at the hamed/ingle benn again mentions hatton, says trinidad is the best fighter in the world & also lays into naz again saying "he could'nt carry my kitbag. throw him in with the mexicans & he'd be embarassed!", he also says tommy hearns should retire & said eubank should be ashamed of himself if he fought tommy hearns ( there was talk of eubank fightin hearns on a lennox lewis undercard) ifind it amazing how benn predicted so much shit that came true. eubank pullin out of a tommy hearns fight out of respect for hearns, naz bein embarassed by a mexican, hatton becomin a star, mayweather becomin p4p king, rjj havin someone find his chin (tarver). i find it quite amazin awesome post damn thats remarkable
