Why are so many pure boxers or former boxers picking Byrd over Wlad?

time will tell the true intent of these commentators / atheletes.. seeing how that perfomance went, if they still intend on picking Wlad's opponents blindly, then maybe we'll get a more clear indication of their reasoning, or lack thereof

he was koed by ross purity before the first byrd fight. it was first time he'd ever been past the 6th round and he was totally dominating purrity till he totally ran out of gas in the 10th round and his corner decided to stop it. it was like the brewster fight,,except more typical of an inexperienced fighter not pacing himself and running out of gas at the end when he couldnt quite put his opponent away. which makes the brewster fight even more bizarre as he was experienced by then and that happened in the 5th after he went the distance in several previous fights. it was hardly an ass beating by purity. but of course the haters see it that way,,lol

I have not spoken to anyone who thinks Byrd will win. I'm leaning towards Wlad for obvious reasons. I will say that Byrd has a better shot this time. Wlads legs do funny things when he is hit on the chin. When they first fought, Wlad hadn't been ko'ed at that point. He wasn't as cuatious as he is now. If Byrd can land I feel he can hurt Wlad, even with his limited power. Having said that, I still think Wlad will win..but it won't as lopsided as #1 he was koed by ross purity before the first byrd fight.

Rahman KOed the best Heavyweight of this era. come on. any top 20 heavy could have beat lewis that night. he was fighting with his freaking hands by his side the whole fight showing no respect. he totally exposed rahman when he came in shape and destroyed him,,not to mention rahman was beaten by friggin ruiz and an old shot holyfield and knocked out of the ring by maskeav and barely got by al cole. he's going to end up being one of the briefest title holders ever. toney in shape should beat him and I'd gibe serg and maskeav a 50/50 shot at beating him
