There would be incredible amounts of damage, cuts, and ball-busting pain in that fight. It'd be hard to watch, but great. It'd probably be a pretty dirty fight too. Pit bulls. Yeah it's also so hard to pick a clear winner in that fight because in my opinion it's a virtual tossup. Hatton's body attack is lightning fast, and JLC counters well on the inside with uppercuts and shortened hooks. Castillo perhaps could break Hatton's will Hatton perhaps could break Castillo's will. Let's be quite honest here. They both have the style to beat eachother because they take the fight to the opponent. Those two are the kind of fighters you can't run from inside a boxing ring. The fighter must fight fire with fire and try and beat the other guy by sheer force. Chlorine/Vinegar = Gas bomb. Side note discussion, I'm still pissed off at Augustus v.s. Hatton not happening. I'm not pissed at Hatton, just the prospect of that fight not falling through. That would have been a great fight, and to be quite honest: I'd give Hatton more credit for brawling with Augustus than I will for walking right through the outgunned Collazo. I'm probably really critical of Hatton because I'm starting to really like him alot as a fighter, and he's rapidly becoming one of my favorites. They guy doesn't waste anyone's time in the ring, and that's all I'm asking of these guys who make big money to fight on television. That doesn't change the fact there are too many posters on this site that are really hyping him up and making him seem invincible. All I have to say is....lets see him beat up on a class fighter outside of Kostya that needed the new wheels for his chair, and batteries for his pacemaker. Hatton is alot more skilled than people give him credit for. That's why I believe if someone is going to beat Mayweather it's going to be Hatton. Everyone else at 140-147 will fall.

I just downloaded his fight with guiseppe lauri from a bit torrent and i have to say despite the biased brit announcers i was really impressed.This was not the hatton we saw against tzysu or maussa who was ragged. If he boxes like this against mayweather or judah he can live with them. against lauri he seemed to have alot of variety in what he does and is able to use the angles (attacking from the sides, not just steaming straight in). Hehas beautiful body shots, switches from body to head or from left hand to right hand like its second nature and mixes his shots up well. and his hands are faster than i thought. hes placing punches in this .lauri fight, purposely not hitting with any velocity just showing his range of skill. defence, wel he dont need it coming in because he closes the distance so fast and has good timing but as soon as hes thrown his last punch in a combo he either moves his head to make them miss or pauses then throws a quick jab that gets their first to throw them off or just bounces out of range with nice feet if theres time to do that. good judge. good thinker. Anybody have any more hatton fights for download please. cheers. if hatton tries to box against floyd he will lose every round...and lets not forget that his boxing skills looked great against a guy whos a c level fighter at best

i recommend for you to watch tons of John Ruiz fight. that should keep you content Hmm you couldn't find two fighters more different than Hatton and John Ruiz. Hatton extremely exciting,Ruiz extremely boring.

Ricky is a rough fighter. Yes he does clinch occasionally after burrying his head into a man's chest if he needs a rest,but then he moves back slightly and unloads with bombs to the hips. If Ricky is having trouble with somebody he'll hold his hands over his face in a high guard and then simply push through,using sheer strength to get his man on the ropes and then tee off on him with some serious shit. If you dont like this,dont watch. I find it exciting,and classify this stuff as a skill because he never gets DQ'd.
