PBF - hatton is such a mismatch

I agree, I personally don't see Hatton to be a tough fight for PBF. I think that's the wrong way around....Once 130lbs Floyd feels 5 or 6 rounds of Hatton leather working him up and down he'll quit on his stool, just like Tszyu did after 11. They can't stand the punishment. He's gonna wish he stayed a lightweight.

I hate to tell you but usually boxer means trouble to puncher puncher means trouble to brawler brawler means trouble to boxer check ali-frazier-foreman and this is one of the reasons boxing is ineteresting and this is why castillo gave floyd fits floyd made corrales look like an amateur corrales managed to stop castillo on something else than cuts more in detail, the brawler, the pressure fighter who throws a lot of punches, keeps coming forward and works the body with discipline is a severe test to a slickster ability to deflect, block, slip and counterpunch, because it makes it hard to do that the whole night. on the other the disregard for defense of pressure fighters makes sure that eventually they will get caught with something big when fighting someone like foreman, hearns, g-man punchers who rely on single punch ko power have little business with someone who can avoid and counter, because they usually dont work the body enough and throw single shots instead of combos, making the defense part a lot easier. I love this post. Makes you wonder about the whole Hatton/Cotto/PBF dynamic.

'Nuff said. all - hattons gone on record saying that duran is his favorite fighter, cuz of the balls displayed - but in no way, except effective aggression, can ricky be compared to duran. not 'nuff said. as far as the fight goes, you gotta give ricky a shot in this one, although i tend to agree w/ the original poster almost 90%.

if castillo was able to do it why cant hatton :confused:i I think castillo hits harder than hatton and is much more savy in the ring. Hatton however is a more inerjetic fighter and has better movemnt than jose I think it would be a good match up as mayweather is not that much faster than hatton hatton has some edge in power and his style will give mayweather fits. Floyd will not fight hattons fight like Kostya did. Floyd is to smart and mobile for hatton to beat not to mention even with not much proof that petty boy has a really good chin.

Everyone knows that if hatton came up against mayweather........it would be classed as one of the biggest fights ever, because they are both great fighters and haven't lost a single fight.

One think of hatton style makes him the more interesting match up for floyd: his ability to the close the distance. No one else does that so quickly and effectively. His infighting is not as good as castillo's, but I am tired of reading that he s got no skills, that's bs.

aint got a clue what fight youv been watching undefeated but the clinching was 50/50 and as for the punches i suggest you go watch rounds 4 to 7 cause kostya was landed some hella big punches in those rounds

in terms of skill hell ya complete mismatch but skill doesnt always prevail sometimes stubborn forward movin fighters with solid chins and power can get the job done so i wouldnt count hatton out in this one he has as good a chance as anyone if not better he took KTs punch without a problem i doubt floyd hits harder
