examples of fighters who rose quick, & fighters who left it later ?

David Reid and Fernando Vargas are two great examples of a fighter being rushed.They were both fed to Trinidad much too early in their careers.

Chris Eubank turned pro in 1985,so he took his time abit. Naz Hamed turned pro in 1992,in 1994 he was already the most talked about fighter in British boxing.

Audley Harrison left it way too late, and I feel Miranda is getting rushed.. and Joe Frazier left it later. How is Pantera getting rushed? He is 26-0 with 23 KO's coming off a great KO of Howard Eastman. It's funny... 6 months ago people said he has never been tested fighting poor competition. Now he is stepping it up and continuing his dominance. How can you say he is being rushed?

Seems more excitin fighters get thrown in early (Tyson, Benn), where the better thinkers take their time (Lennox, Hopkins)

rose quickly : vargas, got put in with tito to early in his career reid ,againg faced tito to early grant, got put in there with lewis to early rose later: bhop, was not really recognized by the average fan until he beat tito. wright, winky did not reach stardom until he beat mosely and tito. tarver, he was allready a pro for 10 yrs. before he beat jones ..

gotta say vargas started too early... even though he gave out a good effort against tito... still wish he never fought him so early on in his career... dats a great example

He has been reincarneted however and looks great feeding off journy men his win over Okine who at the time was considered a solid prospect and an old mercer who can give any heavy trouble were solid wins

Arthur Abraham is an example of a fighter who rose quickly. He started pro. boxing at the end of 2003 and won his IBF Middleweight title couple months ago. So it took him a little more than 2 years.
