That was clearly a balance issue in my opinion. He was coming in with a left hook and got nicked off balance. Not hurt at all. Hatton's guna be the one lads, mark my words. Mayweather's pretty, but Hatton's gritty. Yeah, not to mention Magee was one of his first steps up as a professional. Magee is a wily puncher and being a southpaw, had some weird angles for Hatton. Hatton got right up and took it to him, though. I really wouldn't factor in how Hatton did against Magee to how he's going to do against Mayweather. Floyd winning by a point??? I'm sorry man, but thats ridiculous-- He got his ass handed to him, maybe he won 4 rounds, but after watching this fight 3 times, I don't see how anyone could say PBF won that first fight. I agree, Floyd didnt look impressive in either one of those fights. He didnt put on his best preformance for one reason or another. I had the first fight for floyd by 1 point, the second fight for floyd by 2 rounds. 115-114 and 116-112 respectivily.

All I have to say that it was a close fight and I think it was just to close to give Mayweather the belt he didnt do enough to take it from castillo. and for all these people saying that were stupid for thinking castillo won, why is it that just about every boxing expert allways brings up the fight with castillo???? and how could you say that Mayweather dominated castillo? Mayweather had his track shoes on all day long!!! He was skured!!! and was just trying to win by points and get out of their with the "W". By no means was Mayweather dominant in both these fight he even had larry all mad for running so much in the 2nd fight. (and yes I seen both fights I have them on DVD seen them 100 of times. Mayweather was clearly unprepared for Castillo the first time around and Castillo fucked him up big time!!!! That was a bullshit desicion, but thats what we have to deal with sometimes in boxing---------

After Hatton absorbs a tremendous amount of clean effective shots yes. Floyd would pedal away from him landing flush lead left hooks and uppercuts...when Hatton begins to swell he'd piece together combos and finish him. Eamonn Magee can drop Ricky....Floyd can. Worse. this video is based off of how lederman and merchant scored the fight. but i will say that every round i saw in that video, i had castillo winning all of them.

Here are the statistics of the fight. The point is that Mayweather was the next biggest thing, and they thought Castillo was going in there to "give away his title". Castillo proved them wrong, too bad the Judges didn't see the fight the way that the rest of the world saw it. Castillo won in all categories including aggresiveness and cleaner punching. i think you need to remember how fights are scored. effective agressiveness, defense, clean punching and ring genralship. floyd had bettwe defense, cleaner punching (to the body and the face, bc a punch to the arm is not a scoring one, compubox forgot that, but the judges didnt) and was more effective castillo had mayweather backing away, and he cut of the ring to catch him on the ropes in many rounds. no one has hit mayweather cleaner than castillo has. mayweather had cleaner hits, but castillo was landing many to the body. so i see castillo winning in at least 2 of the 4 things refs look at.
