Im talking both guys in their prime(Hops could had fought @ 168 and still been very good in his PRIME)
How do you think the fight would play out? Both are geat counter punchers, great defense and smart. Hopkins liked the inside, so does Toney. I have Toney winning the UD
this fight would have been boring as ever...toney is the better fighter and cant be hurt @ 168..but hopkins could possibly run around and get a decision
since were are talking about an in shape "prime" vs "prime", this fight could very well be a draw in my mind. if i had to chose though, it might be hopkins by decision. i'd think he would be the busier fighter. both are very crafty vets, even five years ago were both considered vets in thier respective weight classes, but i suppose i would tend to lean more towards hopkins. he is more natural at the lower weights, especially these days, and i'd think he would have a better workrate at than toney. still think it should be considered a draw as the most likely outcome, but we will never know.
12 rounds of little to no action = Toney decision via sweet counterpunching. Hopkins' overhand right would be his downfall as Toney would be quick to counter all night.
lol who is gonna enage the action?, and does it matter those guys defence is so solid i wouldnt count on any of them landing more then 15 non blocked punchs?
