Hopefully no one moves up because the division is shaping up with good oldies, gatekeepers, future stars, and new arrivals, etc...
Established:
Jermain Taylor
Winky Wright
Felix Sturm
Sam Soliman
Fast rising stars:
Arthur Abraham
Edison Miranda
John Duddy
Kelly Pavlik
Possibly:
Kassim Ouma
Fernando Vargas
Roman Karmazin
Sergio Mora (hey, he is a "name" now I guess?)
Ike Quartey
Gatekeepers:
Joppy? retired?
Howard Eastman
Macelino Masoe
Kingsley Ikeke
Antwun Echols
Can Tito stay away? Will Margarito's shoulders grow anymore? Is Ike going to move up?
i think duddy could take miranda at this stage in theri careers
I have lost all respect for you dude! You know absolutely nothing about boxing. Duddy is not in the same ballpark as Miranda. He is a protected good looking white Irish kid with some skills and power and fun to watch. He will make a lot of money by cherry picking his opposition and selling out arenas to his fans (like you). I would bet my left nut that Duddy will not face a top guy for another 2+ years until they can rake in as much money as possible before he gets in ass kicked by someone of Miranda's caliber. At this point Miranda would KO him in less than 1 minute. Please people, take Duddy out of your top prospects list. He's gonna make a shit load of money, but it's not gonna be by beating world class competition!
Miranda aint shit this guy lack defense and barley uses the jab. Got rocked by eastman and won the fight by a premature stopage IMO. Miranda is not ready yet. If we wants to survive he better upgrade his defense and learn how to use the jab more often!

He fought his last fight at LHW. I don't think he will be fighting at Middle any more.
Read my first post...Taylor would KO Tito worse than Hopkins did. Wright might not get knocked out, but he will lose.
taylor is a joke, he will lose to the first guy with any skills that he fights just like he lost to b-hop. taylor is the biggest paper champ in the game after the chumps at heavyweight.

Two words: Jermain Taylor
Beat Hopkins twice in a year and is undefeated. Winky Wright is his only legitimate threat, and Taylor sure as hell ain't no Tito Trinidad. Imagine if Tito fought Taylor? Fuck a one-sided decision, we'd see a wicked KO before the 6th.

is joel julio a middleweight?

Tito is finished, he is easy pickings now. Wright has the right stuff to dominate, taylor is a big factor too and Sturm can make noise. I see Taylor moving up, Wright fighting twice a year and the middleweight titles finding there way to Germany where they'll be contested for the next few years, much like the super middleweight division has been!
