Dan Rafeal was asked about how does someone with no knowledge of a sport get to write about it LOL and he replied "How does someone as ignorant as you even figure out how to get onto the Internet?" hahaha. He wa sbeing clowned and thats the best that he could come back wit. its a fair question tho aint it? why does people listen to dan rafael for boxing insight? ....Listening to Rafael is bad enough, but then you have to look at his face as well. If you must listen to him on TV I find it's best to close your eyes. He's still tough to take but only half as bad as he could be.

Hes a journalist. Thats what he does. Just because he didnt box doesnt mean he has no knowledge in it. I find his articles interesting, and his rankings are pretty accurate, so why hate on the guy? Besides 90% of sports journalists never played pro sports, but they still offer their opinions on things cause they love it and get paid to do it. i think bill walton is a concrete example that playing the game does not make you a better sports anchor/journalist/analyst
