Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see how everyone can predict a short, fat, old "Toney by decision". How do they expect him to last long enough to reach a decision? He's got to win by KO or go home...
you obviously don't know much about James Toney..
This speaks for itself. It's posts like this containing that kind of drivel that show what an ignorant, biased and uninformed idiot you are. You know NOTHING about boxing.
Vitali lost to the only two A class fighters he ever fought. Beating Kirk Johnson means a whole lot. Did you see the guy that beat him last week? Corrie Sanders was a fringe contender who was old, out of shape and coming of a YEAR of inactivity when Vitali beat him. Danny Williams is the definition of a fringe contender.
This shows beyond a doubt how biased and wounded you are.
Vitali fought stiffs his whole career, and lost to the only two very good fighters he fought.
Suggesting Toney hasn't proved anything at Heavyweight and Vitali has speaks for itself. Utter non sense.
My boy? What are you 12? It's really sad to read your wound up drivel.
You're in your 40s, you know nothing about boxing, yet you're wasting your and everyone's time trying to argue about something like you do.
Toney's a top five Heavyweight right now. Period.
A win tomorow makes him one of the top guys to beat in the division.
All of your spite and ignorant ravings doesn't change that.
i gotta agree w/ bozo's assement of toney, and vitali's resume doesn't impress me. nor did his mr roboto fighting style
damn the dude didint say anything to u, why u attacking him like that, ur in love wit toney, stop calling people klitschko nuthuggers that pisses people off....
That's his response to anyone who doesn't agree with him,
they're always bitter little girls or Klit nuthuggers lol
and don't say anything about Toney or you'll be extra bitter lol
On the lookout to not get banned hey? Good for you.
I think you're a dick, and you're back to saying stupid shit.
Toney was the undisputed Cruiserwieght champion when he moved up. That immediatly gives a substantial ranking at a new weight class.
Stopping Holyfield speaks for itself, even at his age.
He beat Ruiz on 5 weeks notice with one arm after Ruiz gave trouble to countless fighters.
Booker and Guinn were durable Heavyweights and he dominated both of them with ease.
Do you have any idea how it sounds for you of all people to be talking about someone not having proved anything at Heavyweight? You're the grand daddy of the Vitali nut hugging club. You were ALL OVER his nuts, and he hadn't proved jack shit. It was all based on what you thought he was going to do.
The bottom line is that Toney's a top 5 Heavyweight right now anyway you try and spin it.
A win over Rahman puts him right near the top.
With the current state of the division, that's more than enough proof he's a top Heavyweight at current.
damn the dude didint say anything to u, why u attacking him like that, ur in love wit toney, stop calling people klitschko nuthuggers that pisses people off....
Another smart post. I really get a sense you know what you're talking about.
Sultan isn't even on Rahman's level. But someone who doesn't watch boxing is not aware of that.
ye ye son, wigga for shizxzle ma dizzle...
...Alright skippy, I'm off to bed while you spin and avoid the issue. Hopefully you won't spend your entire night on here arguing your inane points and you will be fresh as a daisy for the fight tomorrow night. I just can't wait to see your comments if Rahman finds a way to beat Toney. So until tomorrow, good night honey!!
Wow is that ironic coming from a 41 year old man who spends more time talking non related non sense to the point where he gets banned.
You make a complete ass of yourself everytime you post in this forum.
You don't know anything about boxing, and everytime you try and 'debate' something, you just end up yelling like a kid in Junior High about immature non sense.
Stick to the thundedome gramps.
Leave the boxing talk to people who actually like the sport.
I'm picking Rock to ko him tomorrow night but if he can't get the job done than Wlad and if Byrd isn't slipping as badly as I think he is they both would beat him.
Vitali Klitschko retired with Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders, and Danny Williams as his biggest career wins.
Toney could be fighting for another year or two, and easilly has the opportunity to out do that.
That's NOTHING in the big picture.
Wait a minute, that sounds familiar.
Could it be that you're calling Toney the man at heavy based on....
what he may do in the future?
Hmmm, interesting.
I could not agree more. The fact of the matter is, Toney's victories at HW are more impressive than Vitali's by far. Its only the blind nuthuggers that try to blow up fringe guys like Sanders and Williams into better fighters than they are.
So, you're saying that Guinn is a better fighter than Williams or Johnson? Is Booker also a better fighter than Williams or Johnson? Guinn is basically a good fighter that had high hopes in the beginning, but it seems he's weak mentally, and he completely took himself out of the Toney fight. So, you don't thin that Sanders could have beaten Booker? What about Johnson?
Now I admit, I would be a fool to even consider comparing VK's career to Toney's, but come on, I'm a huge Holy fan but what power he had is pretty much gone, and he hasn't done serious road work in preparation for a fight in some time, there was no way he was going to last against someone as slick as Toney. I'm not saying that Toney won't succeed at heavy, but calling him the man at heavy because of his accomplishments at the lower weights is a little unfair IMO. I have no doubt whatsoever that Toney is going to the HOF and he deserves it, but some of the things that are being said about him are a little premature in my eyes.
toney's weight doesn't bother me that much so long as he performs the best he can. Toney was born to fight, until I see some sign of his physical conditioning making him a worse fighter in the heavyweight division, I can't assume that it really matters..
I have no interest in wasting my time spelling out my in depth thoughts to someone who couldn't even begin to have a realistic conversation about the subject matter.
Toney's top 5 right now, and a win moves him up to the point where he could be considered at the top depending on what you think of the other title holders.
Until someone unifies, the top spot is vacent, and the top 2 or 3 are all subjective.
None of this really matters in regards to what you think, because you've proven over and over agian your interst and knowledge run hand in hand along the gutter.

A Rahman win would be the greatest present boxing could give it's fans at this time. Toney was and is a great fighter and there's a place with his name on it in the IBHOF but at his age and physical condition he has no business in the heavyweight division. All that talk about this being Toney's natural bodyweight is just so much bullshit coming from a guy who's trying to make excuses for a lack of discipline.
Toney bitches, talks trash, and makes excuses because he has the maturity level of some punk still in junior high. What he really needs is a good beating to teach him some humility.
We've already established how weak and spite driven your opinion is here.
Toney's physical appearence has NOTHING to do with his conditioning. At a career high 235 lbs he threw over 80 punches a round in his last fight.
You'd be hard pressed to fight a Heavyweight with that activity level.
You call him disgusting because of his shape, yet in the ring he showed every reason why he's one of the most active fighters around right now.
What disgusts me is watching Sam Peter huff and puff after the 5th round unable to put together a combo.
Toney thowing 100 shots per round in rounds 9 - 12 is everything that's missing at Heavyweight right now.
That show right there how much what you think means.

.....Who is this logical kid???? Careful, your gonna be labeled as a Klit nuthugger for stating an objective opinion and your about to get attacked for your views.
hehe someone new to posting on these forums, I read these forums just about every day though. Im really excited to see this fight, I haven't been this excited about a heavyweight fight since wlad klit/peters.. it should be an interesting fight and a test for toney, and no I am not a klit nuthugger just someone posting my opinion like you said.. to clarify to all the others
....Bozo, who could beat Toney now and why?? Where do you rank him exactly and where do you rank the lowly Rahman. I'm guessing you got Toney at 1 and possibly even 2. You gotta have Rahman at like 12-15 considering you thought that Vitali fighting him was a joke and a mockery.

...I didn't really have a vested interest in this fight, but the Toney band waggon nut carresers are making me really want to see the Rock step up.

One day, Vitaliy-Lewis fight will be a legendary fight on HBO. Sometimes losses cam become great victories, Bozo.
lol, he LOST. Get over it.
Outside of that loss, his biggest career wins are a joke in the big picture.
Stop crying.
