I did. I had it 8-4 for Forrest. Mayorga's punches weren't landing cleanly at all but the sound of the gloves his Forrest's arms, gloves and shoulders made what Kellerman described as a "false effective aggression."
I think Mayo letting someone to hit him is a way to show the judges that this boxer cant hurt him with his best so thing so that is part an adcantage for Mayo.
Could anyone put the Avatar on Mayo letting Forrest to punch
I had Mayorga winning by like a point. Forrest rolling around the ring early in the fight cost him in my opinion. He came on in the middle rounds and was tagging Mayorga with good shots and even buckled his legs a few times but he gave away one of the final rounds I forget which one.
We have been sailing this boat around the destination for too long now. I'd have to say both guys won the damn fight and there is no right answer.
That is the perfect fight to see how people generally........judge fights. I called it a draw after watching it the second time.

The best part was when Mayorga stuck out his chin, and Vern popped him good a few times. Then RM just smiled at him... the look on Vern's face is fuckin classic!
On the flip I also thought it was classic when he did the same thing against Tito, and got waylayed! Tried to play it off with that Ashlee Simpson lookin chicken dance, but you could tell Tito buzzed him with one of those shots for sure.
THANK YOU!! Why is it that NO ONE I have spoken to since the Mayorga-Tito fight has noticed that?? That second hook caught him and you can see his right leg stumble and he tries to play it off by dancing. That led to Tito dominating him the rest of the round...Mayorga, IMO was trying to clear the cobwebs a bit. I dont think he'll try it againt ODH tho.
I was there and thought Mayorga won. I just watched it on my comp and I had it closer than I thought. I scored the first round 10-10 because each guy only landed about 5 or 6 punches. I scored the next five rounds for Mayorga. Then Forrest went on a run but I believe it was the 11th round that cost Forrest although I gave him the 12th because Mayorga kinda quit about halfway through the round to celebrate. In the end, 6 rounds to 5 with one even although he was the champ so the even round wouldn't have cost him the undisputed title to me. Good fight though

I WAS AT THE FIGHT
Mayorga won damn near every round
if the punch gets blocked, but the opponent falls 5 steps backward, THAT'S EFFECTIVE!
Forrest's birdlegs were what lost him the Mayorga rematch
