The thing is its a bad picture. I have the fight in fair/poor condition and I see the same thing. When you look at it in the replay from the side its much more clear, the jabs back him up but he does land the right on top of the head. Yeah It's a bad view. I think trying to hard to TKO Byrd could be a huge mistake ala Brewster. That's exactly the thing. If he's going to stop Byrd, he would have to seriously put together combinations late in the fight. The only time he did that....was against McLine and that was because Jameel left himself WIDE open in the later rounds. Wladimir tries to get someone out of the fight early by landing a single big punch, or distance himself in order to establish the jab. My expectations may be a bit to high for this fight, but I'm hoping for something big. Like I stated earlier. Byrd has to break Wlad's will by landing a solid punch early in the fight. He then can feint punches and catch Wlad moving straight back because that's where he's flawed. Byrd also has to have the courage to absorb punishment, because more than likely he's going to get hit with the left hand. There is NO WAY.....Wlad will shoot the right against Byrd...he didin't do it the first time, and he certainly wont this time. Not against a southpaw like that. Byrd more than likely will not throw straight combinations, because he gets caught reaching. If he's off balance, he can pay...just like the video clip demonstrated. It could be, but I'm not sure man. Both guys feint more than anyone in the division. That's how they get the job done. My expectations may be a bit to high for this fight, but I'm hoping for something big.
