A lot of talk on the radio stations in UK bout calzaghe maybe going for RJJ next...big money for calzaghe against a fading legend.
Does Roy Jones have a chance in this fight at this stage of his career? Am a big fan of roy but i dunno....at least its not the KO power of lacy who he wud be facing. Not sure if roy shud be in this type of fight for his future health
sturm and veil have you guy`s been pinching jones`s roids there making you say silly things
i cant believe that everyone else is turning RJJ down... I know he lost but cant you even look back to where RJJ was at his prime... Am pretty sure that you admire RJJ when he was dancing in the ring against his foes. Just because he used steroids and he lost you pound him... anyway i still believe that RJJ is the greatest supermiddleweight until today...
Finally, someone who sees the truth, and greatness of Roy Jones Jr.
yeah some people are blinded by what calzaghe did to lacy.. Lacy is now way near to RJJ even now...
RJJ is the best 168 pounder ever, so he would beat joe, and benn, and watson, and spewbanks, and collins, and and everyone else in his prime

Every time I get a question, PM, or guestbook entry, I'm going to intentionally take longer to give it to you. You already entered in my guestbook, there's no need to continue asking me for the points. I'm currently in the middle of reading and responding to posts here, and the point giving will come later, when I'm not involved in posting.
Well, as long as I get the points.
Where is the 100 mil you owe me??

Because he was a Lightheavyweight being called out by a smaller man.
JC would probably be more comfortable at Light heavy I feel. I dont want this fight to happen, but a small part of me wants Joe in with Hopkins I just dont like Hopkins and Calzaghe would rape him.
Because he was a Lightheavyweight being called out by a smaller man.
If he fights and beats him, or even KO's him, he's just picking on smaller guys.

Calzaghe's right missile would exploded on Roid's head :D , Roy wants no part of Calzaghe, why u think he ducked him? :boxing:

I believe Roy Jones can win this fight on styles. I always said that.
Joe is too square-on, and Jones Jr's coward style of throwing one potshot and then running will frustrate the shit out of Calzaghe. That's what I see.
I agree with JUY to a point. RJJ may frustrate joe. RJ is a bit more savvy and joe will have to play the aggressor which i think is when chalzage is not at his best (he's better when he uses the ring and boxes).
but I believe Joe will swarm a faded jones. roy is just a step too slow nowadays and a is not looking to grind it out. looking at joe last night it seems the lacy win has rejuvinated him and has breathed some new life into his spirit. i predict 12 rounds of no fun for RJJ...just my opinion...
calzaghe dosent hit as hard as tarver..nor is he 6'3
Yeah but Calzaghe's handspeed makes Tarver's look like Maussa's.

I would be devestated if Joe fought RJJ now. It would, in my opinion, be akin to going back to fighting people like Charles Brewer et al. He needs to fight Clinton Woods (as that fight would be huge business in Britain and allow Joe to grab another world title) and then go for Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver (or Hopkins if he prevails).
