Joe is a superstar. He has two belts, and thats the way it is. He made i really clear how blown-up Lacy was by the US boxing fans, i even think quite a few from this forum didn´t know better. I am a big Kessler fan myself, and i´ve seen all his fights. A Kessler, Calzaghe fight would be a good matchup. But Kessler would have to do his homework for this one - Joe Calzaghe, fucking impressive man!!

Everyone said Calzaghe was a shell of his former self. He work rate was excellent in that fight. He fought till the end! Even knocked down Lacy (However on replay it showed it was a clear push.) Despite that, Joe really had lacy confused and hurt. He moved around the right great, he dodged a whole bunch of Jeffs wide power punches. Threw a lot of good effective combinations. And the constand tieing up on the inside was very very very very smart for Calzaghe, which lacy admitted confused him and took him off his gameplan. An excellent difineing moment for Joe. Much like Hopkins' defining moment against Trinidad in 2000. I think Lacy will be smarter and come back after this terrible fight for him. He'll be back.

haven't watched the fight but read the results, apparently not the same joe people expected =). it did cross my mind that joe should have taken this fight in the US, if the performance was that dominating, he could've opened himself to a whole new audience and even bigger paydays.
