Calzaghe P4P Top 3!

Calzaghe is Top 5, definately... Only Brit-phobes and idiots wouldn't see that... IMO, the only fighters possibly above him are Hatton, Mayweather, Pac and possibly Taylor... Give JC the respect he finally deserves! Calzaghe beat the hell outta Lacy and my hat goes off to him for that. He definitely moved up several notches in my book but pound for pound top five? Comon now. Lacy is one fighter, Calzaghe beat this one guy Or at least one guy who was supposed to be a super force and a mega fight. There are other fighters out there who have won big fight after big fight. If he can beat Tarver or Glencoffe then he can move into the top five. If not then he is in the top 6-8.

Just ask yourself... where would you place Lacy on your p4p if he would have won last night.... Again: I created this thread just to piss some people off saying that Calzaghe is p4P top 3.. But all jokes aside.. he is top 5 in my book! 1 - Undefeated 2 - 18 Title defences 3 - Unified champion 4 - Just schooled a "He is a Serious Force" fighter of the year! and don't even compare this fight to Wlad / Peter... Wlad outclassed Peter and survived to a disision... Calzaghe completely nutralized Lacy and put him though clinic

Cali is not top 5. He beat Lacy who's not a p4p great. He just exposed Lacy as a green and overrated fighter. Joe's dominated the division for years, remains unbeaten and beaten a supposed superior fighter with extreme ease. Longest British World Champion as well, and there is no-one at 168 and the divsions immediately below and above whom Joe can't beat at the form he showed yesterday! :cool:

How do you put calzaghe top 3 for beating an untested fighter? Lacy is untested, he hasnt beaten anyone, he had no boxing skills and was overrated. I said before the fight that Lacy gets outboxed, he was getting outboxed by pemberton b4 KO ffs. Lets see who's in tops 3: Mayweather - No comment. Wright - The guy just shutout trinidad, beat mosley and soliman. 2 were highly regarded PROVEN and p4p fighters. Pac - You rate Calzaghe's win over lacy so high cos he dismantled him, well Pac anihilated Barrera and finished it off with a TKO. If calzaghe was 50-0 people would still slag him! I can't really blame them before the lacy fight because he is the unknown whose records may suggest he was a paper champ. But this should be put to stop right now. He a quality fighter with the skills to beat anybody in his path I've been a fan since the eubank fight where i was sure he was gonna get beat. But after watching that and outboxing him I knew he was something special! I think he looks more focused now after the kds he suffered against mitchell and salem because he knows he aint invincible. Hope he wins all the sm belts but I can see him fighting woods real soon (calzaghe will win methinks).

I'd put Calzaghe up in the top 10 no doubt with this performance. But #2? Right now? No. If he countinues to mop up the rest of the rest of the 168 divsion though, damn, it would be hard for me not to put him up in the top of the P4P ranks. Juan Manuel Marquez has lost to Chris John, as I predicted, so he's out. Calzaghe cannot be top 5. Hatton was top 5 after beating Tszyu. Lacy was nowhere near Tszyu's level and was not even top 10 p4p like Tsyzu was. When Calzaghe beats some guys like Kessler, Tarver, Johnson, etc, then he can be top 5. wtf, JMM loss???, tsk tsk, gotta know the story here...
